Harrington Welcome Inn

No tissues or hair dryer in the room. For $6.99 had a great breakfast over at Rudy's Family Rest

This trip was because of a family emergency situation and the Welcome Inn was kind enough to situate us next to other family members coming from another state. We appreciated that. The rooms were both clean and comfortable. We would certainly book there again.

Food on the floor and deodorant cap under the sink in bathroom. Room was not swept. Stain on sheet.

Basic property and amenities. Friendly staff.

So, not sure where all these other reviews come from about how excellent the place is but i didn't even stay the night to sleep there.

The room I stayed in had been recently remodeled. Very clean and great condition. The reason I gave 4 stars is, the front parking lot did not have enough street lights. Very dark in spots. Next door there is Rudy's Diner. Family owned with excellent service and food at affordable prices.

The check in was smooth and the staff was very friendly. My room was very clean. The breakfast was disappointing with a small prepackaged honey bun, two kinds of cereal and coffee.

I'd rate this hotel an 11 for its proximity to restaurants, carryouts, grocery, and entertainment. You're in the middle of EVERYTHING in walking distance. The standard double room is large! Now for the bad part: The room I was in had two adjoining rooms and you can hear well through those doors if you have rowdy neighbors. There needs to be a full-length mirror to see your outfit for the day. The outside stucco could use a good power wash. The stairs to get up to 2nd floor need to be derusted and maybe put the ladders and other tools away. It's great the rooms don't have carpet. It's easier to clean that way. Beds were comfortable and the furnishings are up to date. More attention needs to be had toward cleaning - toilet, tub, sink overflow drain, and the sink drain. Each of these were dirty or clogged. The drop pan that the fridge sits on makes it hard to open the fridge. The one staff person checking in was prompt and curtious. There are laundry machines if you need one, and parking is easy. An okay stay for one night. Maybe two for a young couple.

Nice clean helpful affordable safe

We came in for the Phish festival and were only in the room for sleeping. The stay was everything we could've asked for...clean, comfortable bed, good shower, great air conditioning, coffee in the morning, and friendly staff. Thank you!

Very nice

No lock on the bathroom door. No lock from the outside. Building and room smelled like stale cigarette smoke

Decent enough room, but bed was uncomfortable. No breakfast buffet (to be fair, one wasn't advertised), but that seems to be a bare minimum in most hotels. Price was fairly reasonable, but I've gotten significantly better service and quality for a similar price in other hotels. Parking area was not very well lit, and since I had to check in late, it did not make me feel very "secure".
