Hilton Garden Inn Ithaca

The Section VI Swimming & Diving team had an amazing stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, Ithaca, NY. Every room was immaculate, comfortable, and well maintained. The food was great, abundant, and perfect for large groups of people.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room was clean and quiet, and the blackout shades came in handy. The parking is very convenient.

The property is in poor condition. The room had a heavy smell of dust and didn’t feel clean, with stained sheets and an overall outdated appearance lacking basic amenities. The bathroom curtain was in worse condition than expected, showing excessive wear and tear. It was barely tolerable—had we not arrived at 10:30 PM, we would have left. We even didn’t took the breakfast that we paid for in the morning. I was genuinely shocked that these were the standards at a Garden Inn hotel. I’ve had positive experiences with the brand in the past, but this stay makes me question whether I’d return to any of their locations. I wasn’t expecting Conrad-level experience, but I also didn’t anticipate something resembling a low-grade motel.

Pictures of the rooms are accurate, pretty nice. Staff was great. Only problem is the cleanliness, the sheets & towels were not clean & smelled weird. Other than that, pretty easy & hassle free experience

The front desk staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Everything was very clean. The beds were a bit firm for me, but that’s just a personal preference.

Staff was amazing, helpful, answered questions before they were asked. Recommended places to eat, easy instructions to get to parking facility which was well lighten and convenient.

This was the hotel for a conference at Cornell and was perfect: quiet, comfortable. A good place to rest and to do work, with plenty of fun activities and easy parking.

The rooms were very functional. The bed blanket was too thin for the cold Ithaca nights. The price was very high for the level of the hotel.

That Deli downstairs is the best part about the stay!
