Hilton Garden Inn Louisville Airport

Property is nice, but their bar & grill, and eating area are under construction and one of the elevators didn't work at all. Breakfast service was great; food was ok. Potatoes were soggy because they were just reheated from frozen; powdered eggs; bacon was paper thin and quickly broke when you selected a piece. Evening bar/grill had 2 ladies working that spent most of their time gabbing with each other. Beer was not cold and drink selection was weak. Dinner food selection was very weak so we settled for some pork sliders which were good but it's all pre-packaged stuff. Wanted the chicken tenders but they were all out. I'm not happy with changes in this hotel. I booked through Expedia and paid for complimentary breakfasts, yet the hotel didn't have that information - had to prove it to them; you have to request everything including room cleaning; was told we had 2 complimentary water bottles in our room and got nothing; coffee maker hadn't been cleaned in a very long time; had to scan bar code just to get room info. No in-room manual for that stuff which I think is handier. Not sure if we'll come back.

Amazing stay

Did not feel safe leaving car in parking lot. Advertised a pool and there was no pool. Breakfast was an add on. Didn’t come with room even after paying $200.

used to be a great go to, i asked for high and quiet and was put in a room next to a barking hound after a couple of hours was changed to a room next to family whos kids opend and slamed door for a couple hours woke to a noise maid just a comedy of errors, hotel seems to be on a downslide,

Wonderful

Booked 3 rooms Friends stayed in other 2 rooms Double charged us for all three rooms Hotel going through construction that was not told about. Have never been so disappointed. I use hotels every week for work. This is the worst experience I have ever had in 5 years of travel!!!!

The only thing dissapointed me was the property does not have a pool.

The breakfast buffet was a charge of $18.95 per person which was quite a lot for a typical buffet

Check in people were not the friendliest. Not rude, but not friendly.

Good location, close to Airport and easy access to freeways, building is remodeling

They had to completely replace the air/heat unit.

Staff was super nice and friendly, rooms and guest areas were clean and the coffee out front was great. Pet friendly was amazing, lots of puppies to pet!

The staff is what really makes this place great. It's also clean and conveniently located.

This property was safe - that is important in the Louisville area around the university campus.

Did not like that they took bath tubs & safes out of the rooms with the remodeling.

This was a horrible experience. I have contacted the manager. We were unaware of renovations being done to the hotel. The dust was terrible for my daughter’s allergies. We asked to move and were denied. The construction was happening above our room and loud jackhammer noises weee happening all day. This was the worst experience ever. We would like a refund. Attached is a photo of the hallway right outside our room. This is unacceptable: we have a lot of hotels booked through your site. I would Appreciate help in getting a refund

My husband is in a power chair. We got a room that was handicap accessible. It was huge. It was truly one of the best handicap rooms we have ever stayed in. There was plenty of space for him to move around. The bathroom was wide, plenty of grab bars and tgeshower was roll in as advertised (which hasn't always been the case). Very welcoming staff. Would definitely recommend.

Will stay again, love the shuttle to the airport.
