Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis University Area

Nice place to stay at. The parking is a bit confusing with key to open the garage door around the cornor and two levels of indoor parking that was not intuitive. Would have been helpful if the staff has provided some guidance. The room and general facility is fine. The 3 stars for 1st floor bathroom that ran out of soap, paper towels as well as hand sanitizer by 7:30 PM.

It was nice and quiet. Very clean, I also loved the layout and how they have seating in the lobby.

Convenient location and I got a good night sleep. Comfortable room, bed and bedding. Thermostat in the room to control the temperature.

It was a last minute hotel change due to the original place we stayed at was completely busted down. the hilton was so fast to accommodate, and the rooms were beautiful

Stay was great. Only complaint is need firmer pillows other than that hotel was great!

Had to pay $30 for parking a day.It wasn’t mentioned before and it didn’t seem like a very safe neighborhood, so our stay cost us $60 more then expected.

Only stayed a few nights and it was good!

The front desk crew was unfriendly and dismissive. The walls of the rooms paper thin so we could hear everything. The pillows were flat and single ply toilet paper. The parking was expensive. The only highlight of the hotel was the hostess/server at breakfast. She was nice, efficient, and eager to share information about the area.

I needed time to think about this section so here it goes. I was tired when I checked in I didn’t have to chance to go through the room but the next morning inside the bathroom was hair all in the sink, hair on the floor, and hair inside the shower area, then on top of that I requested a non smoking room and in the bathroom smelled like cigarettes, I ask for a manager every day and I got no response even up until my last night I even gave my number and was told a manager would call me but guess what??? NO ONE HAS CALLED ME YET!!! So unprofessional. I go downstairs to ask for plates and utensils and what do they give me dirty plates dirty utensils even down to the towel the utensils were in and again I ask for a manager and still NO ONE HAS CALLED ME…

It wasnt explained upfront that i would have to pay for parking.

I returned to the hotel late in the evening and hungry, so I purchased a cold sandwich from the deli case for approx $8. The sandwich was dry, stale, of minimum volume, and tasteless = definitely not worth even $2. Every other aspect of the stay was excellent.
