Holiday Inn & Suites CLEARWATER BEACH, an IHG Hotel

The service at the front desk was excellent, Brian attended to us and helped us. Guadalupe the housekeeper was very kind and helpful. The breakfasts at Jimmy's were very delicious.

Ok for the night

The hotel is run down. The staff was rude and unpleasant. I prepaid for breakfast for two even though I was alone. They still charged me an extra 15.00 plus gratuity. The elevator was not working and I had to walk down from the 7th floor for breakfast in the morning.

Broken elevator made it time-consuming to access rooms. Otherwise great.

Hotel is totally worn out and broken. First impression upon arriving in lobby, is hmnn, one broken elevator, worn out furniture and drab. Room was even worse; furniture is worn and scratched and drawers were broke, carpet is thread bare and wrinkled. The doors were damaged, bathroom fan/light did not work, towels were stiff and scratchy and windows were filthy. Restaurant/bar was even worse. Dirty, worn and broke. In bathroom one toilet and one sink were out of service. We were on the 6th floor, so the conditions can not be attributed to the recent hurricane. Bar service was good, but breakfast was almost un edible and service was slow. We pre-paid for three days of breakfast and skipped the last day due to the awful food, and went next door to the Opal Sands for breakfast. The food was excellent in a beautiful setting for less money than our prepaid at the Holiday Inn! For $300/night (water view was great) Plus resort fees! Most outdoor facilities not available due to recent hurricane and also off season, there are many better options near by. The staff was very friendly and helpfull, too bad the facilities are in such disrepair.

Very inconsiderate of management to keep the common areas and restaurant at 68 degrees during this cold spell. Ridiculous that front desk staff & restaurant staff are in winter coats . This whole hotel needs a major overhaul.

The bathroom door looked like a bear had tore it apart. The carpet was dirty and pulling up.

This was our second time staying here. We like that it is in walking distance to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Jimmy’s Fish House and Iguana Bar is great(located in hotel). A really nice place to stay.

I know there's a rebuilding post hurricanes so hopefully hotel and restaurant will be fully up and running in the future. Restaurant was a little underwhelming from what we were used to with less consistency in the food than we remember. But again post hurricanes we are hoping the future will be back to qhat remember or better.

The hotel was hit by a hurricane. They are not only renovating those areas, but upper floors as well. This entire hotel should not be open for full-price occupancy under these conditions1

While the hotel itself , location, restaurant, attached coffee shop was decent and convenient. The room was rundown. Needs major room renovations. This would prevent us from staying at this hotel again .

It’s still a construction zone (hotel and area) from the hurricanes so not everything is working. There is only one elevator for each area and they are extremely slow. The couches in the rooms need replaced. We ended up taking the mattress for the pull out bed and putting it on the floor as we needed the extra sleeping space. The staff was super friendly and helped with anything that was needed. The pool and restaurant are open again so that was good for our group. The a/c worked really well in the bedroom side, but not as well in the living room side.

Great place to enjoy the beach and sunsets. Stellar views. The service desk manager was absolutely amazing. She was friendly and went above and beyond you could tell she was passionate about her guests and her staff. They have done a great job working towards restoration after Milton.

Very convenient location and nice suite with kitchen and all Utensils included. Excellent option to enjoy the beach nearby for family with small kids

Hotel staff was very kind and helpful.

This was a great property to stay at. The biggest problems we had were most likely still hurricane aftermath related so we will give them the benefit of the doubt on those. The only thing we didn't like was being charged the "resort fee" and not getting any the of the resort amenities. The pool/bar area were still under repair so I don't really think it was fair to pay those but it is what it is. We would stay here again its a nice property, the location is great just a couple minute walk anywhere you would want to go on Clearwater Beach.

The gulf view is nice especially for the sunset but the hotel is a bit old and outdated.

nice clean rooms & even thou work was being done on pool & restaurant area ...we were told to use restaurant and pool at hotel next door which was very nice....

No pool! Whole first floor under construction. We had to go to the hotel next door for breakfast. They still charge resort fee even though pool, restuarant, laundry not available.
