Holiday Inn Express & Suites IRONTON by IHG, an IHG Hotel

The lady at the front desk kept trying to sign me up for a membership after I told her I was not interested. It even seemed that she was going to do it anyway until I asked directly why she needed my Zip Code and she responded with "oh I thought you said yes".. after I clearly said no. Shady tactics. Would have to assume their are multiple people who have memberships they do not want. Also the first room smelled like smoke

Its proximity to my route what I didn’t like was after I drove 12 hours to get there just to find out the dates that I had paid for were some how moved up to the next day without my knowledge that didn’t coincide with my itenerary and the lady at the front desk I felt like just wanted to shoo me away and didn’t want to help so I went elsewhere

We stayed the night for the Randy Travis concert in Ashland, Kentucky. Great distance away. Easy to get to. The hotel was super nice. So many extras!!!

Good access to the freeway.

Horrible, worse night ever. Live local and just wanted a date night to relax and enjoy hot tub and pool really. The hot tub and pool were over crowded with adults drinking alcohol and children hanging off entry ways until 4 am….at 8 am we attempted hot tub which had dirt all around the edges (caked on sides) pool you couldn’t see bottom it was dirty, but yet chemicals so strong I could smell a day after we were gone :-( The shower had hair all over it and water pressure barley enough to wash shampoo out. Not being a Karen but for $170 I felt stupid for reserving and have had no problems in past but will never stay again.

Only thing that could improve is cleanliness of pool tiles.

Loved the stay. Modern rooms with a comfy bed. Breakfast was good as well. Pool and hot tub access 24 hours, which was pretty cool. Definite stay again hotel.

The staff was great rooms were clean and i would recommend anyone

I drove up to ashland to visit a good friend of mine. Tbis hotel was very close to ashland and good priced. The staff was great and check in was quick. Room was very clean and nice

We stayed here en route to our final destination. It right off the freeway in a great little town. Check in was quick and easy. We walked into our room and were delighted. Great space, clean and modern. Pool and hot tub were a bonus. Breakfast was great! Would definately stay again..

From the ease of booking this property for what it’s known for which is the 24 hour pool and hot tub, to check in with a very friendly front desk face and the multiple choices for breakfast to pick from and enjoy in a beautiful dining area, to quiet and peaceful and the room was beautiful, clean, spacious and exactly as we expected. Our only complaint was the woman who was in charge of breakfast was not helpful, approachable or personable at all and it was disappointing considering how wonderful everyone else that we interacted with was so pleasant.

It was a pleasant stay. We got in late so didn’t get to explore or use the amenities but the pool and hot tub were open 24 hours and the breakfast was good. The lobby and room were clean.

I highly recommend- great place to stay

Quick and easy check in. Very informative and friendly. Very clean in lobby and hallways. Room was very nice, comfortable beds, and clean. We used the fitness room. It was well equipped I used the treadmill while my husband used the elliptical, both worked great. They also had a stationary bike. We also used the bench and dumbbells. Grateful for the water cooler with cups. Breakfast was good, as expected hotel breakfast. The back courtyard looked fun, had a nice sitting area, a grill and two pairs of cornhole boards!

Everything about the stay has been great, it's clean, in a quiet safe area and the staff is fun to talk to. Housekeepers do a fabulous job at keeping the property clean and safe. Everyone at this place is awesome
