Holiday Inn Express & Suites SWEETWATER by IHG, an IHG Hotel

It was close to the freeway and yet quiet

Toilet was to close to the floor Had to have help getting off. I didn't realize i could have asked for a handicap room fell trying to get up.

It's right off the highway, so the traffic noise is louder than I'd prefer. It's run down looking, bed is pretty hard and the carpets could use a good cleaning. They're pretty gross. I can only hope the sheets and towels have been changed. If I come back through here, I'll find somewhere else to stay.

Shower head dripping, mold in shower, poor water pressure.

The ladies at front desk at check in were so friendly and very helpful. They offered us complimentary cookies and recommended an excellent restaurant for supper,which didnt disappoint. If Holiday Inn could bottle the skill ser of the staff here in Sweetwater Tennessee, it would benefit the whole organization. Keep up the great work👍👏👏

Gym was closed.

Property was very dated. There was no housekeeping service at the hotel and we weren't notified about this at check in. Staff was friendly.

THIS HOTEL HAS A WATER HEATER PROBLEM. IF YOU LOVE COLD SHOWERS, STAY HERE. IF NOT, AVOID IT. I QUESTIONED OTHERS STAYING THERE AT BREAKFAST, THEY HAD SAME PROBLEM. WATER DOESN'T GET HOT. GIRL AT FRONT DESK GAVE ME ATTITUDE AT CHECKOUT. SAID SHE LIVES AT HOTEL. HAS HOT WATER. MANAGER NOT IN YET. ADVISED I SHOULD NOT BE CHARGED FOR OVERNIGHT STAY. TOLD HER TO HAVE MANAGER CALL ME ABOUT THIS. SO FAR NO CALL. SHE PROBABLY NEVER MENTIONED OUR CONVERSATION TO HER. WE DONT TAKE COLD SHOWERS. HAD TO WAIT TILL I GOT HOME. SAD. THIS WAS 4/24/25 ROOM 324. FRONT DESK GIRL TOLD ME TO CALM DOWN. I WANTED TO SHOVE HER IN A COLD SHOWER.

The staff and breakfast area what great.

Stopped on way back from Florida. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good

I walls were dirty cabinet that held fridge falling apart. Sink and Taps, walls, corners of floors and dirty. This hotel should have been rated 5

We normally stay at this hotel on our way back from Florida. The staff was friendly and the room was spacious. There is a variety of places to eat/door-dash. And I love they provided a list of restaurants. Need to work on make sure the room phone works and put anti-slip in the tubs.

It was dirty the floors the linen looked like it wasn’t even changed from previous guests.

Not very good stay. Check in was bad. Ice machine and elevator were just outisde my door, loud. Bed was hard and TV digital broadcast only was bad.

Nice property over all but routine maintenance is some lacking. Example flooring in elevator needs replaced. Fresh coat of paint would help etc. I would stay there again. The staff was helpful and friendly but seemed overwhelmed by their duties.

Would not recommend at this time. The owner needs to update & bring a lot of things up to code. We had no hot water for 2 days. Could not take a shower @ all the day we checked out. Manager did agree to compensate some of our cost for this issue & that’s appreciated. Ice machines were out of order on 2 floors too.

The indoor “heated” pool was freezing. They stated they would have maintenance come and look at it the next day and it was still not getting worked on. Part of the reason for booking was for the pool too.

We only stayed one night on our way to FL. We had 4 rooms. We needed a crib and they got one for us right away. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was great! MAKE SURE TO TIP THE COOKING STAFF!!! We will be back there next weekend!

The staff was nice, but the property was clearly refurbished and old. Halfway done remodeling and poor workmanship. Not worth the price.
