Holiday Inn Express & Suites WINNER by IHG, an IHG Hotel

My grandchildren enjoyed the pool and the rollaway bed was so helpful

Selected this property because it was near family, convenient, and quiet. Clean property and great breakfast.

Good for a one night stay.

It was great. The staff was fantastic. The bed was uncomfortable though. Breakfast was amazing.

Staff were friendly and accommodating

Clean. Needs a good update though. Tv worked but could not watch anything. It kept saying there was an issue with service. I tried to call front desk and stopped by as well but no one responded either time. Breakfast was great! Pool/hot tub were good but there were only 4 chairs for all the families to share.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with this place. We had a long day driving through South Dakota, and we needed a place to rest. We wanted a nice place to lay our heads down and continue our journey in the morning. But instead they were not able to check us in and we were forced to drive another 2.5 hours to another hotel. It was not because of network malfunction or the lack of rooms. Instead it was training deficiency. Where there host does not even know how to log into the computer. Me and several guests had to call Holiday Inn Express Corporate for him to try and get support. This was a incredibly unexpected experience, especially considering IHG brands hotels are usually consistent. The Corporate service was also quite lack luster, and the bad quality communication with their reps, passive aggressive attitude, and inadequate support completely shattered my perception of the Holiday Inn Express brand.

We were all happy with the friendly employees and the breakfast was exceptionally good compared to many holiday inns

It was a great place to stay if you are going to Winner SD or around that area in SD

Room changes

Not so great. The floors were dirty. The bed sheets were dirty, with what looked to be mud under the pillows, the bathroom, mainly the shower, had hair all over it.

Good location-- easy parking. Only issue was at breakfast. Machines were broken for waffles, food was not restocked -at 7:30am on a Sunday was pretty empty on food. Would be nice to have a lounge to sit in and visit, just used the breakfast area.

We used to live in this city. Expected nice pleasant helpful and were not disappointed.

No one at the front desk at 7 am when we planned to depart and breakfast not available until 7:15

This place sucks. For $130 a night it should be nice. Worn-out bed, old everything. Needs a remodel. Wish they would fix it because there are only 2 options in Winner and the other one is worse.

If it said Super 8 on the sign outside, I'd have gotten what I expected, but this is a Holiday Inn Express, and the room was $130. I don't know why IHG would let this place keep their franchise. It is in desperate need of a remodel. Everything is old. The faucets are rusty and sinks stained. The bed was worn out. No in-room coffee. There were signs of mice living in both of the box springs in my room. Unfortunately I need to stay in Winner a couple times a month for work, and there are no better options. I just wish they would fix it up. It's awful

I did not like that they could not provide a copy of my bill with abreakdown of cost of room and taxes. I mostly book this Choice hotels and the front desk can always provide a copy for me. I need the copy for the company I work for. Can Expedia provide this for me? I cannot find a phone number to talk to a customer srvice rep.
