Holiday Inn Express GRAND RAPIDS SW by IHG, an IHG Hotel

The check out employee was very pleasant and professional and welcoming to all guests. The breakfast service employees gave good service and very pleasant. The check in employee and nighttime employee that worked Tuesday and Wednesday were not pleasant. They really need hospitality training. Front desk hung up very rudely Wednesday morning when we called about the breakfast hours. After all they are in the hospitality business. Maybe this isn’t their passion?

Nice places to stay little hard to get to some road closures around

Mostly clean property- mini fridge in the room was gross but we didn’t use it anyway. Hot tub could have used a cleaning as well but the pool room was nice and open.

I liked how clean and modern it was. The staff were so nice, the breakfast was great and the room was really nice, clean, updated. I was really impressed. I definitely would stay again.

we were on the second floor, it was pretty hard to sleep with all the noise in the hotel. breakfast was decent. overall not worth what we paid & wouldn't come back.

Me and the people I stayed with really enjoyed the pool area and our balcony looking over it. We got to swim and talk with the others who didn't want to.

Very clean and friendly staff. We stay here multiple times a year as we have 2 kids in college in the area. We recommend this hotel to other families too.

Had an early morning tournament to go to over the weekend but breakfast was good and ready at 6am. We only slept there but appeared to have a nice pool and hot tub.

The room was clean and up to date. All amenities are included in the room. Actual bottles instead of the little tiny ones. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were clean and it also had a game room. I would definitely recommend this place for business or vacation.

We love this hotel and stay here everytime we are in the area. It’s perfectly set between our 2 college kids. Always clean with great customer service.

Everything was good. Nothing bad to say. I don’t think I should have to keep doing a security hold as long as I been coming to this hotel and with gvsu football using that hotel also and me as a parent of a player

Everything was up to our expectations

There was a lady at the desk that was very rude. When ever we asked her for anything she rolled her eyes and acted very inconvenienced by having to do her job. She did not have a name tag but was at the front between the hours of 5pm and 630pm. There also was another lady who was very polite. I just want to make sure you guys are aware of the rude ladies behavior.

The pool was nice. The kids played for hours! It was very close to shopping and restaurants.

A nice spacious room. Lots of counter space for luggage and travel items.

Great hotel, pool and staff!

Worst hotel experience I’ve had in a long time! Way too many young kids sports teams staying in hotel. The running and screaming down the halls, banging on doors. Had kids in the room above me bouncing a basketball NON-stop. Called the front desk and asked them to call the people above me, nothing stopped. Kids running and screaming all over the hotel. Left to go out to dinner and came back to find all the parents sitting in the lobby while their children are running wild. Staff did absolutely nothing except say “our quiet hours don’t start until 10:30 pm”. The next morning it started right back up, had a massive headache from listening to the bouncing of the balls again. Skipped breakfast and left. NEVER again!!!
