The property and our room was immaculate. The guest services employee who checked us in was friendly and helpful. Our room’s kitchenette was a bonus, particularly the nearly full-size fridge. Perfect place to relax and watch the final episode of “White Lotus” after a long day’s drive!

We travel quite often but have never stayed at Home2. It was a very pleasant surprise. A mini kitchen, a clean shower (no tub), a couch with a curtain separating it from the bed, and a super comfortable bed. The breakfast was amazing. It was not a "cook to order" breakfast, but was close to it. Very tasty and very clean. The hotel was slightly more expensive (? $20 ish ?) than Holiday Inn Express category of hotels. It was very clean, very nice, and definitely worth the $20 difference. We will stay here again. THANK YOU HOME2 for this very nice hotel upgrade. This was a very good value for our money.

There was a huge hole in the blanket in the middle. The pillows were old and nasty yellow.

I always stay at this location when I visit Abilene however this stay was different. This was the first time I noticed how thin the floors are. I was able to loudly hear the person above me walk back and forth, it was quite annoying. Also, the pillows were so soft, I had to fold them twice on my king bed to have a decent firm pillow. If you do not like super soft pillows, bring your own.
I am always disturbed to see dogs in hotels that have carpeted rooms. There is no way of knowing whether a dog as urinated or worst on the carpet and I would bet the carpet is not cleaned in each room that had a pet in it prior to someone else staying in the room.
This was also the first time I slept on sheets that had little cotton balls on them indicating the sheets are aged and should be thrown out.
I have always had nothing but high praise for this location until now.
