Homewood Suites by Hilton Erie

We were in room 327 and could hear someone walking back in forth in the room above us at around 3 a.m. every night . Extremely annoying..

The staff were professional and responsive. The pool was smaller than expected. Location was satisfactory to Presque isle. Loads of shopping nearby. Housekeeping services were non existent. But, when requested was quickly given what we needed.

Breakfast was very good and bed was comfy.

Great stay

Rooms were pretty run down. Our carpet was ripped in multiple places and the refrigerator in our one-bedroom suite was rusty. Seems the place could use a freshening up!

Pool was great. Our room had a piece of the carpet missing near the bathroom, not appealing. Toilet didn't flush right so had to hold it down. We booked 2 rooms & they put them on 2 different floors & couldn't fix it when we arrived. Thursday breakfast was great & kitchen staff was awesome. Saturday wasn't great & our of a lot of items.

The beds was so hard my back still hurts! And the one guy that checked us in had an attitude at first then became friendly! They never cleaned our rooms even after asked to do so. So our bathrooms were out of shampoo, towels and conditioner!

Comfortable, clean and friendly! Spacious room with super soft pillows! Excellent service!

The property was conveniently located. It could be a little spruced up with landscaping. Room was clean. Free breakfast was terrific. I was a big fan of the oatmeal. Dining room was lovely. Please invest in better coffee. The coffee was very weak. We ended up going to Dunkin to supplement our coffee.

Loved staff and breakfast

The hotel was nice the front desk was super nice and very respectful. For as long as we were there they only took the garbage out and they didn’t clean anything at all I got myself Clorox wipes to clean everything. And the tub had a crack in it made me worry if it breaks on my kids so I had to was them in the other bathroom and that bathroom had mold on the ceiling.

We have stayed at this hotel 10 times over the years without issues. We were put into an ADA room (not sure why) and after unpacking for 4 people, boating items and food we were asked to move the next day. This took an additional 2 hours to move everything which interrupted our vacation. Sean was nice and gave us a discount for the trouble. The ADA room was rather dirty (see photo), the new room we were moved too many of the items did not work such as lamps, charging stations, privacy blind etc. While this used to be our favorite hotel in Erie we are considering other hotels that are cleaner.
