Hotel Alameda Highline

Martin helped me, and he is such a great person to explain the location plus taking care of costumers I would stay at this hotel Again because of people like him. Thank you Martin for making my stay prefect.

The room was terrible. Bed was horrible. Mattress was directly on floor. Only a small wooden chair which was very uncomfortable. Would never stay there again.

We refused to stay in after seeing the state of the property. Room was covered in cracks both on the walls and wooden fixtures. Stains on the floor near the need that looked like bodily fluids. SHOWER DID NOT HAVE COURTAINS AND POINTED AT THE BED FOR VIEWING! Absolutely disgusting. Now the place is trying to refuse a refund. Please somebody from Expedia contact me

I had a wonderful stay at this property in the heart of Chelsea, Manhattan. The location was incredibly convenient — close to everything I needed and surrounded by amazing food options, from casual bites to upscale dining and lots of art exhibitions! The room itself was unique and thoughtfully designed. It was the perfect blend of comfort and style. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable stay in a vibrant, walkable neighborhood!

It is good hotel but definitely need some update as it seem outdated and my shower only hat boiling water. Otherwise the staff were amazing.

It felt a little sleepy... like really quiet.

The pictures of this hotel definitely make it look better than it is, the floor in the rooms is concrete so can get pretty cold and dirty, no rug in our room unlike the pictures. Sockets were hanging out of the walls a bit, great to have electric blinds but when the small window blind shares controls with the bigger blind, and it ends up just continuing to roll and slapping around it’s not great. Inadequate shower tray meant that water leaked across the room in to the bottom of the wardrobe unless you packed the corner with the bath mat, receptions response to that was to send an engineer (very quickly!) to take a look but the answer was “it just does that” so not great there. Location is okay, I opted for staying out of midtown to avoid some of the noise which it was great for, at least 10/15 minutes to walk to a subway so again doable but not too practical. I think there’s a bus stop nearer but we didn’t get round to trying it. A few small restaurants and delis nearby and great location for Hudson Yards. We got a complimentary upgrade which was very much appreciated, and don’t be put off by the nightclub as there were events 2 of the nights we stayed and we couldn’t hear a thing on the 9th floor. Bed was extremely comfortable, nice to have a tv and 2 fresh bottles of water per day, shower takes a while to warm up (about 5 minutes) but once it’s on it’s good, just a shame that the rooms seem a bit run down and could do with the smaller things being refreshed.

Was an ok stay. The main benefit to this hotel is the location. The rooms are extremely stuffy and the doors may not close behind you. Lackluster amenities and paper thin walls

Great staff, decent location, comfortable mattress and pillows, good heat control. But the mattress on the floor just didn’t work for us. Difficult and dangerous. And the black walls in the hallways were creepy.

The rooms are poorly heated, have unsafe and uncomfortable platform beds, terrible water pressure, and the hotel is loud.

My new fav indy hotel, within super easy walking distance to Hudson Yards, Highline, West Side Highway. Love it.

The Alameda is a nice hotel on the west side in Mid-town New York. While the hotel is a convenient location the rooms are not that great. The bed is very low to the floor and it is hard to get in and out. The toilet is very high and there is no refrigerator. The air conditioner did not work and it was really hot at night.
