Hotel Genevieve Louisville, KY is a great hotel.

Loved the aesthetics, decor, and convenience of the location. However I do have a few issues that will make me not stay here again. Overall stay was decent but prefer a bigger brand hotel as they are more accomadting with issues, and amenities in the hotel. One and done. Upon arrival, Wednesday I was greeted by a wonderful, courteous agent who checked me in with no problem. Later that night, I discovered the heat wasn't working and called the front desk. A young lady answered and advised someone would be up. An hour later and no one came. I called and was told the maintenance was gone and only option was to switch rooms. We were there all day, after traveling from GA and unpacked to check out Sunday. No apology or compensation was offered and the customer service was definitely lacking with their response to the huge inconvenience. I eventually spoke to the manager (who wasn't the most welcoming or empathetic) and she comped me $20. Something is better than nothing, I guess. CONS: not enough lights in the rooms it was too dark even with them all on, no shower door that closes (there was an opening that made showering a mess and cold-had to pre steam the bathroom and still was a draft) no pool or fitness, no micro for usClub next door that is open until 4am Friday and Saturday and you will FEEL AND HEAR THE MUSIC ALL NIGHT.(left side if you're looking at the hotel from the street) Ask for rooms on the right(valet side) but I'm sure its still bad as the club is right there..

Stunning hotel! I also love the dining options at the hotel. I've stayed there twice, and would definitely visit again.

The bed was comfortable and the staff was nice. Parking was over $50 a day and it wasn't even covered. The room is small and the lighting was terrible. Only 3 small lamps, and one was a red mushroom light. Only 3 blks from Whiskey row with good restaurants around.

Very clean, helpful, friendly staff. Parking very overpriced.

Wonderful trendy Hotel in the NULU section of Louisville KY. Close to a number of very popular bourbon tasting rooms. Also Wonderful restaurants nearby and on the top floor of the hotel. Would DEFINITELY stay there again!!!

Great location close to many bars and restaurants! The hotel itself is very well designed! Top floor bar is beautiful and it was nice to have a coffee shop in the hotel. My only complaint is that the lighting in both the room and the bathroom is extremely poor. I would literally have to use a flashlight to put my make up on.

We had a great stay. The location is perfect in the middle of NuLu. The room was very Wes Anderson inspired and the 6th floor bar was a nice touch.

Absolutely LOVED this place.

The hotel rooms are very nice. The rooftop bar is great. The front desk staff and mini mart staff were cold uncaring never smiled and treated you like they were doing you a favour.

Adorable hotel! Best decor and details. It was nice to be able to park right on the street close by with no issues. The Cuban restaurant across the street was so good.

Stay was great! Only issue we had was parking, although they do offer valet.

I picked this hotel for reviews which had 4.2 star rating. I should’ve read the bad reviews. One parking is a joke. Drove around block twice and finally got spot. When walking up then I noticed they had valet parking but was hiding from road(it’s between two buildings. Hotel room was small. What was funnier they painted ceiling to make it look like a cathedral ceiling. Note to management that looks ridiculous just paint the ceiling one color! Carpet in room was very uncomfortable walking on. Overall not impressed Hampton Hotel is much better and friendlier staff.
