Inn of the Four Winds Oceanfront Seaside

The unit we stayed in is located directly on the walking promenade, which is very nice. The unit is large with 2 bedrooms and is nicely furnished and appointed. We had to leave early because of some health problems and it was extremely easy canceling the unused portion of our stay.

The property was lovely. It could use general maintenance upkeep, such as deep cleaning the rooms (baseboards, doors, grout etc).

The property was nice, the room clean but we had noisy neighbors above playing loud music until way after midnight. Wish we’d have asked for a top room vs being on the bottom level; not sure if we’d have had a choice however since it was full.

Fantastic weekend trip. This hotel made it really special. The room was large and extremely clean and comfortable.

Very nice property right on the prom overlooking the ocean. Would certainly stay again though Seaside s not the town it use to be.

Rip off. Old Plumbing that sounds like war artillery from every other unit. You will hear every conversation and footstep. Not well kept, dirty with just a few forks and knives and dishes gesturing at being a “kitchen”. Walls and ceiling so thin that you will hear every neighbor’s activities including (quietly on their part, I’m sure) opening or closing drawers! So loud! Terrible experience for a high price. Bring Earplugs and your patience, or better yet, avoid.

We arrived at about 9:45 pm every heater in the place was on high. We opened left the door open and opened all the windows until 2 am, then closed the door and left the windows open throughout the night. There was people talking loud until the early morning hours in the parking lot. The property itself is nice. The rooms are clean and well kept. We have stayed several times and the stay was always great.

Everything was great. Comfortable and clean. Only problem was the laundry room was right beside or above us and it was very loud very early. I would stay here again though.

The giant 2 person tub was amazing.

Overall a great place to stay in Oceanside. Room looks to have been recently refurbished and has all new furniture and memory foam beds. The bathroom was nice as well. The rooms all have a nice deck or balcony with chairs to sit and enjoy the view. There is also a nice shared deck with some benches and chair. I enjoyed sitting there with a coffee enjoying the peaceful morning. The room we had was very spacious and had a large king bed, an actually comfortable sofa bed, and then a separate bedroom with a queen bed. There is a small kitchenette with everything but a stove/oven, including plates and dishes. You can walk to the town center with all the shops and restaurants via the beach front "boardwalk" directly in back of the hotel. Takes about 10 minutes or so. Although it is beach front, there is about 100-150m of grassy dunes between the property and the actual beach. There are a couple of nearby access path but be prepared to walk a bit in your sandals to get to the beach. Hotel is in a very quiet and peaceful area and not right by all the large and dense hotels. There is enough parking for 1 car per room, but no more. it is a tight fit. Our only real complaint was that the wifi kept just completely dropping. It would work fine for like 1 hour, and then just disappear for 10 minutes, then work for 30 minutes, and then drop again. And cell service was very poor, making problem a bit more obvious.
