Had a bad experience with the food service department within the hotel felt like the Server or food advisor named David was not very kind nor very accommodating. We ended up spending a lot of money on the upper top floor restaurant and that was amazing, but as we went to the third level floor, we just felt like the quality of the service felt unwelcoming and uncomfortable. That ruined the main experience of the day or else everything would’ve been amazing. This is also the first time I ever stayed at intercontinental and visited the USA.

The hotel is in a great location and the service was top notch. The cost for food, beverages and parking was very high. Room rates were about average to a bit high for the area. Goodness comes at a cost!

We reserved 2 night with free breakfast for 2 through Expedia. However, after returning home, we were surprised to find a few charges on my credit card. When called your hotel, we were told that one charges are all for breakfast: - you charged full cost of breakfast for one day - for the other day, you charged the difference between the full cost of breakfast and $60 / room credit. Outside of being wrongfully charged for one breakfast, we were not told that our free breakfast reservation was actually only $60/room credit at either check-in, in the restaurant, or checkout. Although the you refunded the charge for one day at the call (we still had to pay for the difference for the other day), we do not expect the lack of transparency at a hotel of your reputation. The fact that the breakfast buffet costs way higher than the $60 credit make me feel that we were tricked.

Some negatives: The breakfast: We prepaid for breakfast and were told that it was served from 6:30 to 2:00. When we came downstairs at 10:45 we were told it closed at 10:30. We had to have room service. We both ordered the "Farmers breakfast" and it came with only one egg instead of the listed two. The next day we came down at 10:00 and were told it closed at 10:00. Had to order room service again. The housekeeping: We were there for five nights and our bedding was only changed on the last night.

It’s a very standard modern hotel with a sea view. I liked that the bathroom is a proper room and not just separated by glass. Parking was $45 a night but very convenient and it was good to have a car to explore the city and nearby parks. The gym is very big and only lacks a squat rack or smith machine, but there are plenty of machines and weights. There is a Starbucks next door which is convenient because the hotel is in a new redevelopment area so you need to walk further for other cafes and shops. The resort fee is a bit annoying for a city hotel and they give you $22 to spend but not including the tip so you are forced to have a drink every night (which we didn’t mind). But the main restaurant/bar has no vibe and hopefully the terrace bar is much nicer when it’s opens in the summer.

Short walk to little Italy and sea port! Buffet breakfast was delicious and the staff were all so kind and polite. Our room was very spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable! Would definitely stay here again! The parking and hotel fees definitely add up I had pre paid and still owed $$ at the end of the trip!

The hotel itself was fine. However throughout my stay i was being charged all different amounts ranging from $200-$900 from the hotel. I went down there almost everyday to talk to them about this issue. They assured me that they would block my card on their system from any additional charges but they did not. It continued to charge me. I had to flag all the charges through my credit card company. I had paid for the hotel in advance on another card so not sure why they were charging this card that I used for the accidentals which was released after my stay. But the other charges were not released had to dispute. Very frustrating experience.
