Enjoyed the place. Not fancy but appropriate for the length of stay (1) night. The room was fitting for the ambiance of the town! Front desk staff pleasant and available for check in and check.

Smack in downtown Julian, Main St. is just around the corner and everything is pretty accessible by walking. We stayed in a quaint room that was clean with two windows and a fan unit. Antique-looking wooden furniture and a cozy bed. Coffee in the office in the morning, and of course breakfast within walking distance. Parking was $10. The desk attendant was very kind, the area was very quiet. Reasonable price too for two college kids.

This hotel is a great budget friendly option. The service was excellent. The only reason For a 4 star rating was the fridge froze Our food and drinks, the coffee was stale and the curtains were pretty light and we could see others waking by and they let light in early in morning. Lastly, we were traveling with our dog and put on the top floor (as did others with dogs we noticed) which made it hard to get up and down in a way that felt safe- taking her out at night was harder because of this as well. All of that said, none of these things would prevent me from staying here in the future because of the friendly service and perfect location.

It was older and cute. Management was super nice. The only negative was that the air conditioning was super loud and I had to turn it off to sleep. Otherwise, I would stay there again. Nice location just around the corner of main street.

It’s exactly what it claims to be! It was clean - there were fruit flies in the bathroom, but everything we could see was clean, and the room smelled strongly of cleaner. It was quiet, and check in and out was easy. The beds were comfortable. We couldn’t figure out the tv, but didn’t end up needing it. Overall, it’s no frills, and fine!

Nice place to stay when in Julian. I had a small room but it was just me and it was in great shape. The staff helped work out a problem with friendliness and professionalism. I would stay again.

I booked this lodge through expedia,for my wife and my 10 year wedding anniversary, and I was not disappointed the building was obviously old but the rooms were redecorated and were in great shape, Our room was extremely large and very comfortable, the staff was very accommodating, they even called as we were on our way down to advise us the room may not be ready due to a staffing issue and to take our time. We would definitely book a room there in the future.
