The front desk staff were the best and housekeeping never missed a beat. I’m a picky eater and although they serve breakfast, there are many food options that are close. For a night out on the town, it felt like everything literally everything was around the corner or down the street.

This was the bottom of the La Quinta barrel. It felt like a converted Motel 6. Breakfast was awful: broken serving dishes, missing items, terrible coffee machine. Avoid this LQ, there are plenty of others nearby. I went for the lowest price of the brand-name hotels; I got what I paid for.
For all the negatives, I will say the staff was exceptionally friendly. They saved this rating.

The bathtubs to slippery, have to use a towel in the floor of the tub to shower, and the one thing that shock us more was the beds they was very comfortable and clean, but tooo small, no queen, they are full, so it is the thing to make me think twice to go back there. in general it is a good hotel for the money. last but no less, the breakfast was good and convenient. Overall, a very solid place. Many dining options nearby and right next to Busch Garden Tampa Bay so good location. But place itself is outdated and breakfast was okay.

Great staff, very helpful with answering questions. Chowhall lady was a lil pushy with her comments about me picking up my trash as if I wasn’t going to pick it up. Give me a second to breath before jumping the gun & I saw her doing it with other customers as well.

The staff was very friendly, and even though the room had an updated look, it smelled like a urinal and was in need of repairs - toilet seat, flickering lights, large gap at the threshold (which probably accounts for the cockroach that was scurry around - yes, I know it’s common in FL), etc. probably wouldn’t stay again, but with some work, the price would be fair

Random bugs crawling around, kind of a sketchy area but does the job if staying for 1-2 nights. I don’t recommend this place for longer stays for vacation.

The room was nice and the lobby was clean. But they had a water main break and offered limited breakfast (meaning a cold muffin) and I chose this hotel because it came with breakfast so we wouldn't have to find somewhere to go in the morning, but that did not happen.

Once I reported the problem, I wasn’t offered another room or nothing just my money back for one night…I should’ve been discounted for the other night. I called trying to get another hotel but due to graduation ceremonies they were booked.

Check in was ok. Room was basically ok BUT there was quite a gap in the weatherstripping on the bottom of the door which not only made the noise outside more pronounced, but also leaves room for bugs and insects to get in with no problem. Noise level was a bit loud and you could almost feel the floor vibrating as people walked or ran outside. (We were on the 2nd floor.) At least the pool closed about 10pm or so, so that cut down on some of the noise.
The other issue was the handle in the shower was broken. This could have caused a MAJOR issue if we had not been paying attention! An older person, or anyone really, could have tried to grab it for steadiness and could’ve fallen and/or been seriously injured.
Overall it was an ok stay but I won’t be choosing this hotel in the future. We only chose it due to the closeness to Busch Gardens.
Plus upon checkout, the girl at the desk never asked how my stay was as she was occupied with someone else on the phone. She basically said, “ ok. You’re all set. Have a nice day.”
Like I said, it was ok but yet there’s plenty of room for improvement.
