Lovers Point Inn

Perfect and more affordable location, right in front of the beach. Plenty of restaurants and places to go within walking range. Although, parking is not guaranteed. The parking garage is very narrow and on an extremely sharp hill. Our car scraped the bottom going up and down.

The motel is old but kept clean. The view from our room of the bay was quite nice. The room was large but the bathroom tiny. The water pressure from the shower was good but the faucet in the sink just dribbled. There's not a lot of restaurants nearby, but there's a nice one across the street.

I Loved room 301 it provided an awesome view of the Ocean as well as privacy. Most of All I Love the staff the front desk people are awesome go above and beyond for thier customers!

Next to the beach,free parking and excellent scenery and also saw a deer in town.

Front desk guy was funny and amazing. Very helpful, professional and friendly. Room was a bit dated and bed was a little uncomfortable. Clean but needs a refresh

Cute hotel most have ocean views but the ocean is literally steps away but you can't hear waves. There are no blackout curtains and it is near a busy street so you'll hear cars all the time unless you close window. We saw deer and their little babies from our window in the evening. Everything nearby closes early so fyi

Within walking distance of everything. Elevator didn't work right, kept taking me to the wrong floor, even took me to the 4th floor which is completely under renovation. Ended up using stairs the whole 3 days we were there.

This Inn is right on the seafront of the most beautiful view. The space is perfect for a quick recharge before heading out to see all the amazing nature surrounding the area. We even got to see a mother deer and two fawns right outside our door! Truly a magical stay.

Creaky bed, old furnishings and structure. Owner doesn’t invest in the simple upkeep.

This property does what it needs to. A convenient stop for the night. The room was fairly spacious for 3 adults and 1 teenager. We appreciated the microwave too. There was enough parking. It is an older property, although pretty well maintained. There is no air conditioning and although you can keep the windows open, to enjoy the cool sea air, it can be noisy.

Fiancé and I stayed one night during a weekend trip to Monterey for my birthday. The room was small but clean, you can hear people talking in other rooms but it was manageable. Bathroom was clean, the people at the front desk were kind of rude but we only interacted with them once so it wasn’t too big a deal. Old-fashioned thermostat but it worked super well and was very cool.

Hotel and room was nothing like it looked like in the pictures seen when booking. It was super rundown and outdated. We had a large group of people sitting out in the walkway on lawn chairs making a lot of noise that could be slightly muffled through closing the windows, but that would make the room stuffy since there was only a portable fan and ceiling room for cooling. I immediately wanted to check out and after contacting a rep for hotels.com they told me after speaking with the front desk that I they said I should have told them my complaints before check in? The hotel refused to refund me since I had been in the room for more than 15 minutes (while I talked to a rep and booked a different hotel to stay at). After I personally talked to the front desk to ask for a refund because of the condition and deceptive images online again they told me it was policy to not issue refunds after 15min; when I asked where this policy was written he said it wasn’t. He also said he was aware of the people out in the hallways, but “knew them” since he was friends with him I guess that meant it wasn’t a problem. He tried to keep arguing with me that none of the issues with the property were a big deal. Overall unprofessional staff and lackluster hotel that I would suggest not booking. The only appeal here is it being close to the water and other tourists spots. Pros don’t outweigh the cons especially for the price.

Poor parking, unorganized check in as I was given room keys to a room that was occupied and room was stuffy.

Checked in , got the room and it was terrible and than we left for a few hours, can back and they gave our room to someone else and all of our stuff was in the room , the guest opened our room, and they where honest and did not take our stuff , went back and said to the office that room is taken , we got new keys and than our tv did not work and they tried to fix it but did not , I recommend not staying there , it was a terrible experience, the under ground parking was terrible ,
