There were a lot of people and only one hot tub was working. On our last night (thank goodness} we were awoken at 4:00 am with the hammering that was taking place right outside our windows as they were putting up the carnival rides!! We were quite surprised to awake to find a Ferris wheel that we could almost reach out and touch just out of our kitchen window! If we get back to Tahoe at this time of year, we will know to ask for a room away from the front of the property, other than the early wake up all was good.

We enjoyed our stay at the resort. The staff were friendly and service was excellent. Our room was like a nice apartment with the benefit of being close to the gondola, restaurants and live entertainment. The weather was perfect! We had a blast.

The cleaning staff was amazing. The rooms were cleaned daily and the trash removed daily. The front desk was pleasant and helpful. What a great location to enjoy all that Southern Lake Tahoe has to offer.

This property exceeded our expectations. The kitchen area was so well kitted out with everything you could want for a self catering stay. The apartment was really spacious and comfortable. It was so easy to go skiing in the morning as the gondola station is a few steps outside the hotel.

The room itself was nice and had everything we needed. However, the bed and pillows were some of the most uncomfortable that i’ve ever experienced during a stay somewhere. It made it hard to fall and stay asleep during my stay.

The only reason why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 Is because the bed sinks quite a bit and Is rather uncomfortable but everything else was perfect. Location is prime and some of the best housekeepers I’ve ever encountered. Front desk staff was very sweet. I didn’t smell cigarettes at all like many have said. It’s just an overall great hotel in a great location! Is it over the top fancy? No but who cares when there’s so much to do in heavenly!!
Tip: I used the South Lake Tahoe Airporter to get to and from RNO. It dropped me off at Harrah’s which is a 10 minute walk and it’s a beautiful, peaceful walk with a lot to see. Picks up at Harrahs, too! Its $60 round trip which isn’t bad considering how long the ride is.
