A Hotel in the Rocks. Very unique setting and gorgeous views. Rooms were very comfortable and the shower was amazing. Only problem during the stay was the Soda Machine dispensing Regular Soda instead of Diet when pressed.

Outstanding property & amenities. Have stayed here multiple times over the years. Never disappoints. Must stay in the Tempe/Phoenix/Scottsdale area.

We enjoyed the room but did not enjoy coming back to our room at 2:30pm and finding that our room was still not cleaned. We had the cleaning staff stop us before we went into our room to say that they were running late, so we left to give them time to clean. We were charged a resort fee which is fine, but apparently parking is not covered in the resort fee so you get double charged for staying at The Buttes. The view was great, atmosphere was wonderful, but the extra charges weren't worth going back.

Property needed a thorough cleaning and lots of remodeling. The staff and food was awesome. They were excellent. But the property was not well taken care of. Looked very run down. Sky lights in the restaurant did not know that is what they were because you couldn'tsee through them. Some where even cracked.

So the hotel is very big, without any attention to the detail. I had to report three times that the toilet was not flushing.
It looks like a ware down used to be amazing hotel. But the staff was just aweful.

Staff could use more training and knowledge. They did not appear to know much about the property, such as how to get to our room, where the restaurants are.
Also could use more restaurants or food services for the dinner service. Overall a very nice hotel, great location to airport and interesting design.

The resort was nice for the off season. The Market Cafe had great food and 2 wonderful servers Hiba and Josie.
The grounds need some work. Dead plants and foliage needs trimmed. No flowers in pots.
Beware they charge to park in the parking lot $15 plus taxe per day. This is on top of their $75 resort fee.
