Great stay! The staff was super friendly, room is modern and fun - and right in the heart of downtown Asheville.

Seamless experience

The area was amazing, but the room was too small. Could barely walk between the bed and the wall, finding a place to even open a suitcase was a challenge.

The parking garage access is odd when you arrive and the front gate by hotel is closed. I was driving for 8 hrs prior and did not see any additional information in email. Limited signs in the parking garage made finding the check-in (the bar) confusing PLUS have to go up/down stairs with luggage. The elevators are super confusing. There's no buttons in the elevators. instead a touchscreen in the lobbies and room keycard required to access the floors with rooms. It also doesn't acknowledge the floor selection was successful so you may retry a few times thinking it didn't work. Everyone we ran into had the same feedback. Hotel is trendy and very nice. Service was great. Rooms were super clean and comfortable. Note, there's no microwave/fridge in room. If I had noticed that ahead of time, I would probably have booked elsewhere. Pay the extra for the unlimited parking pass if you plan to drive anywhere. Location is ideal if you want to be downtown and easily walk to shops/restaurants/bars. Overall a nice stay, just included a lot of confusion at times.

Fun. Non traditional. Felt like we were staying with friends.

Very hip hotel with cool, boho vibe. Very good and interesting restaurant on 7th floor with beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I had reserved a small king room but was given a double queen room. Bathroom is very cool. Bedroom feels like a cramped college dorm room but was okay for 1. Welcome cocktail was nice touch. It’s connected to the Marriott Loft so facilities can be shared. Parking was difficult. Great central location.

Very funky and cool hotel with all the amenities and wonderful hotel employees running it! I was so happy to have found that place. Right in the heart of town, they offer you a parking pass and a free welcome drink when you arrive. Gotta love that! 2 Thumbs Way up!

Such a fun hotel…lots of games in the lobby. Great decor & staff in Asheville was wonderful!

Room was small but nice. Not having a closet was strange. The hall storage / amenity closet we had access to was nice but had hair on the pillows.

Loved the hotel and the concept. It was pretty confusing to get around the place though! For sure could use a map for guests! They gave us complimentary drink tokens but they were not very clear on what and when we could get those. Had a great time but would love to see some options for meals in the hotel during the day. We weren’t able to find the breakfast options the next morning so ended up near by at a restaurant.

Room was too small to cram 2 queens into. Also the climate control was terrible, too loud and the fan would not turn off in auto mode. Very uncomfortable room.

The staff at The Moxy was incredible… from the front desk crew to the rooftop restaurant folks and Eve in between. I had a great stay and will definitely be back!

Great check in and room

Absolutely stay at the Moxy Asheville! Highlights…1. Stunning views from the restaurant/lounge upstairs. The hostess was fine with us walking out to the porch to take in the views. 2. So many free games on the “upper lobby”. Shuffle board, arcade game and tons of board games. 3. The room is small but super clean and modern. And the shower was awesome. 4. You get “Moxy bottle caps” when you check in that you can use towards free drinks during your stay. 5. We were staying to be close to the Orange Peel for a concert, and could not have been more convenient. We pre-gamed in the cute lobby/bar area, ate a Few slices of pizza from a carry-out pizza joint (Manicomio) only three door up, used our bottle cap free drinks. The lobby served as a cool hangout spot. Corey was super helpful at check-in. The hotel may cost a little more than others, but totally worth it. Parking was only about $15 and right next to the hotel.
