The Marriott is a beautiful property. It is within walking distance to shops and restaurants and is located on the water - the views while having breakfast are breathtaking. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Newport.

We could not check in because our room was not ready. waited 2 hours and then they had to change our room and to a room not what we paid for - room w a partial view and the sheets smelled bad - asked them to be changed and they were not - we were there for 2 nights not sure I will go back to this hotel again.

30 dollar "destination fee" & 35 a day to park when I'm staying there? Absolutely ridiculous...also the room was not that great especially since it had no outlet on one side of the bed or a charging port??? it's 2025....

Great place with 3-5 minute walks to nice restaurants. Was surprised with the extra 30 fee because they are a “destination” even though they offer it back in credit on site it doesn’t end up saving you. Food WAY over priced. Starbucks closes too early for you to get a drink there mid day.
