Oceanside Inn & Suites

I initially confused this hotel with another property, which affected my initial expectations. While I had previously stayed here and had reservations about returning, I noticed some positive changes. The property shows signs of improvement with fresh paint and general updating efforts. However, there are still areas needing attention. The room layout remains awkward, and housekeeping needs more oversight—I found a used soap bar in the shower, marks on the walls, and sand on the floor. While I appreciate the visible attempts to upgrade the property, there's still work to be done to meet basic cleanliness standards. Credit should be given for the renovation efforts, though attention to detail in room cleanliness would significantly improve the guest experience

This has been my go too at ocean side always clean, and the stuff member are friendly all the time, the only request I have is to change the vlind at the bathroom as it doesnt close all the way, missing shingles.

233 for two nights is amazing and for 3 Queen beds who can ask for more. There is no sink in the restroom and no fan in the restroom but again there were 5 adults and the price was right more money to spend on other things.

Bring your own hair dryer. Walls are thin. Great value for nice, clean room.

No breakfast, only walk in shower, Small room but comfy. Nice to park right outside the room. Staff is friendly and the area is nice. I would stay there again but the price raised overnight

Everything is close

Hastle free check in/out. Very clean and tidy.

Check-in was fast. Room is nice. Cost is competitive. It's right next to where I'm meeting a colleague for breakfast tomorrow. And the internet was simple.

When we booked this room, it was hard to tell from the descriptions and photos exactly what we would find, so I will describe it for those of you who are also curious. This is a very good option if you are looking for something inexpensive and near the beach. The rooms appear to be in something like a pre-fab or mobile home building, but the blackout curtains were good for privacy and sleeping and there wasn't too much sound from other rooms or outside. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, but no extras. For example, there was a fridge and a place to hang clothes, but no real closet and I didn't find an iron or a hairdryer. The floor is not carpeted, so while it isn't exactly cozy, I'm sure makes it easier to keep clean if a guest comes in with sandy shoes. We are not "big TV" people so the medium sized TV on the wall was all we needed. The staff were helpful and provided an extra blanket upon request. There was enough parking, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. We felt safe, although I wish the room number weren't written on the key. There were several very good options for meals within walking distance and even more within a short driving distance. We really enjoyed being able to walk to the beach to watch the sunset! We were on a budget for this unexpected trip, and I would stay here again if I needed serviceable budget accommodations in this area.

We needed a place to fit 6 people in my family and this was perfect. It was quiet and provided everything we needed.

The heating unit was regulated to low but eventually heated the room. No bathroom vent.

Easy access

The room was set up pretty nice. Everything seemed clean. Parking was easy and close to the room.

Bed was fine but the walls and door in our room needed to be cleaned. Walls are covered with dirty hand and feet smudges.

Front staff were friendly. The rooms were not well kept . Numerous finger prints all over the walls . The was no hand soap in bathroom. The bed was very soft and lumpy to the point that I sunk down in the middle.

The place is close to everything stores, restaurants. The only con is that you can hear all the noise from the other room. Other than that it was good.

Upon checking in, it was done quickly and grateful after a long ride from our home. The front office was very clean and presentable. The room was excellent, smelled so fresh and clean, the beds were made and wish I had my memory foam. Loved the privacy, the food locations were walking distance, Taco Stand, Breakfast at the corner, excellent service, really laid back, across the street was a gas station, 7-11, everything conveniently close by. Even the burger spot was three minutes away Angelo’s Burgers.

Great stay and nice rooms

The property was in poor condition. It may have been sufficient for a single night, but overall, it was not a good experience. The room appeared nice from the outside but had an unpleasant odor, reminiscent of a public bathroom—possibly mildew. A portable heater was blasting inside, adding to the discomfort. During our stay, there were two beds: a king and a queen, located in separate rooms. The king room had only a sink, while the queen room contained the toilet and shower. Additionally, there were limited outlets; only one was available in the second room with the queen bed. We did not sleep much because we were afraid of being robbed. The windows did not close fully, so we secured the drapes and hoped for the best. Other guests on the property seemed sketchy, watching us as we came and went.
