The staff was friendly and professional, especially Mavis at the registration desk. The room was clean and spacious, with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is located near the BART/MUNI station, the cable car turnaround, and Union Square. Highly recommended.

Not polite check in staff although check out was nice. The valet parking is outrageously expensive. Rooms are well worn and shabby. The area of town is dangerous and dirty

I've stayed here 3 times in fifteen years, it's fallen off quite a bit. Good hotel but not the high class place it used to be, probably explains the price. Had to call front desk for regular things that should have been addressed before arrival like shampoo lotion and conditioner and their freight front desk staff is not rude but not high standards of hospitality expected of high end hotel

Noisy outside (Not hotel problem) Great and clean room, but it needed a toilet and faucet repair. Our booking came with $17 per person per day Food and beverage credit, but it was poorly explained by staff. I was told different things on different days. Also, my bar bill from Hilton Union Sq, did not get credited. I would have had to pay additional had I not been thorough. GREAT LOCATION, I WOULD STAY AGAIN.

The person who checked us in told me that we didn’t have breakfast, and then that we didn’t have two beds for the suite which is what I paid for. Next day the person who checked us out said we did and the experience was great other than that

Comfortable beds is the only good thing I got, towels were re-used just folded after housekeeping came through, sketchy area with a lot of homeless who seemed to be on drugs.. window was very dirty, no noise isolation from the outside.
