Checking in was easy and I like the fact that I can walk directly to my door from my car. But walking into my room, it smells immediately like urine. The couch in the room was dirty and had spots all over it. The top blanket on the bed was dirty and had spots all over it and the bathroom had a very distinct smell of urine. I actually was very thankful that I had some cleaning supplies with me because I sprayed the tub down before taking a shower and a distinct dirty film, rinse out of the tub. Luckily, I had my own shower gel because there was none. I had to bring the blanket and pillow from my car and sleep wrapped up in that because I didn’t want to sleep in the bed. I honestly wish I would’ve just slept in my car and saved my money.

The advertised pool was covered and looked under construction, more like deconstructed. The property was unsafe, trash around the building, lawn and landscaping unkept. Had to actually leave the property to get to the back side where my room was. There was a man In the lobby that stood near me and my niece and after hearing my room number and attendant giving me directions to the back of the hotel, this man jumped in a box truck and kept following us around the parking lot and roads around the hotel, even turned around on the highway and parked behind me until I moved. They followed me back to the front office through 2 streets and parking lots filled with homeless and sketchy people. I ran in to the lobby and gave the key card back to the man at the front desk and never even got out of my car and went to my room. I should have known it wasn’t safe when I asked the front desk attendant where ice and vending was and he said to go down to a certain room “10_something” and call the front desk and he would unlock it so that I could come through from the back of the hotel to get to lobby. He said he couldn’t leave it open for guest because of the people that lived there. I assume he meant the sketchy and homeless encampment on and surrounding the property. I just left as I’m pretty sure there were not good intentions with the men in the box truck and as a women traveling with a young girl, I was very careful cautious and careful about my surroundings.

The breakfast area seemed to be under renovation. They had some new appliances out, but the outlets didn’t work to get them electricity. The staff said they were working on upgrading things. Overall it was a good start for the price.

Worst hotel ever. Rooms were completely disgusting. Couch had stains all over it. The pictures are not accurate at all. Checked in and immediately checked out in like 30 minutes. Don’t ever stay here.

If we could give Zero stars we would. Upon entering our room we were greeted by dead cockroaches all over the floor. There were still some alive and moving elsewhere. This place is infested. Curious the smoke detector had plastic wrapped around it and taped to protect it and the room smelled like raid or a bug bomb. The front desk did not seem at all surprised when I told them it is uninhabitable and I need a refund. I was told to call and speak with the general manager. This facility knows there is a major health and safety issue and keeps taking customers money anyway. It’s a shame this is even happening. What a disgrace. Do not stay!
