Ramada by Wyndham Strasburg Dover

I reserved a room with a walking shower for my friend that is somewhat disabled but when i got their at check in got to my room it had a bath tub wasnt very happy.

The bed was so bad i called front desk asked if they had a bed that wasn't so ran down and the said they could get me a better newer one if i upgraded to a better room. What? great customer service 👏 rest was fine didn't stayed out at drive in but sleeping was horrible

We have stayed here for years and always loved it. Completely different this time. Stayed 3 nights and our room was not cleaned, had to ask for trash bags, towels, washcloths and cups. I’m hoping it was a shortage of staff. Will stay again and hope it’s better.

The room smelled strongly like cigarettes. The bed was broken, we ended up getting a new room.

The fact that my 9 yr old sat in the recliner in our room and put her hand in the side of the recliner and found a firearm. Come to find out it was fully loaded and had bullets in the case. We were accommodated at no means. We were just told sorry. I forever never recommend it, that staff obviously didn’t do its job on checking the room. We should have at least got our stay free. A LOADED Firearm. What if it would have went off. Then what

LIked: I booked the room because it was pet friendly. Also asked for / got non-smoking room. Did not like: elevator and hallways smelled like stale cigarettes. Not a great selection of breakfast food at breakfast buffet. Lack of healthy options.

Very friendly staff, exceptionally clean room, and nice breakfast in the morning.

A very good place for our visit to Amish land......the restaurant in the hotel was great....we have a fantastic spaghetti dinner on Friday and the local EPA was good.

King bed was huge and comfortable. Bathroom big. High to step in to thou. Pool was nice but hot tub to small. Lobby was very nice and clean. Desk employee was great and accommodating.

Mid-shift check in gal very pleasant and accommodating. We didn't know that the environment was a smoking/non-smoking. Who still has smoking rooms? Fortunately our room didn't smell like smoke, but the hallways did. Our room, #200, hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in some time; dust and pet hair everywhere, even is the ice bucket. There were 2 places of dried boogers underneath the bathroom towel rack: So Gross! Mildew on top of the shower enclosure, and the shower head itself. Plus, not even enough hot water for 1 guest, let alone 2, in our room: not acceptable! The room hadn't been vacuumed before we got there; there were pieces of old pieces of candy on the floor beside the bedside stands, among other OBVIOUS pieces of debris. I would not walk bare-footed in the room! Mildew frosted in the freezer. Fridge, mehh. Dried (???) under the microwave rotating wheel. Hot tub and pool very cloudy with a strange smell. If only the housekeeping staff was as fastidious as the breakfast quarter staff, this place would be immaculous! No next time!!!

Was great till the dog started barking in the hallway for 30 minutes. Other than that it was ok
