Friendly and polite staff.
No issues with the room essentials; warm, clean, piping hot water and comfortable bed. Very spacious (king suite). Breakfast plentiful and varied, hot and cold. Barely anyone partaking at 0845, so seating space was not an issue. Plastic cutlery and polystyrene plates.
Annoying room TV glitch if you’re a ‘Firestick streaming person’ - the additional HDMIs don’t work if the hotel’s feed is plugged in. Unplug the hotel HDMI and the TV remote becomes inoperative, so no volume control for when your device is plugged in and the default TV volume is way too loud! It’s a shame that hotels do their best to prevent total stay enjoyment - just protecting their wifi, I guess..?

Overall, this was a very good stay. The staff was friendly and honored a request for additional blankets and pillows within minutes. The pool was clean and a good temperature. The hot tub was clean and hot, but the jets would not turn on. The room was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was not the most comfortable. When we arrived in the room the AC was on and it was cold, so I turned up the thermostat a degree just to cycle off the AC. Later in the night, despite turning the thermostat back down a couple degrees, it never felt that the AC cycled back on, so it got a bit warm for my comfort.
Of note, there is a Mexican restaurant across the street, Jalapeños. It was delicious and great service.
