Rodeway Inn

The hotel recently sold and is undergoing renovations to a Rodeway inn. It needed a renovation for sure, but its all torn up and debris everywhere,

This hotel no longer existed and we had 15 people with no place to stay. They said they had sold it in June and it was June 28 I had just contacted them on May 26 to confirm.

When i went to check in on June 21st the front desk clerk informed me that this facility has closed. No email, no phone call, no text was sent to inform me of this prudent information . So I'm standing there with my grand daughter dumb founded. I had to scramble to get another room for 6 nights and i cannot get ahold of anyone to verify if i was charged and if so when and how can i get a refund. This was at the Webster NY hotel on Empire Blvd.

When I arrived at 8:30 pm, I was told that my prepaid reservation would not be honored. I could not stay there. The hotel had been sold to a chain and was to be remodeled. I was never notified of their cancellation, and no hotel rooms were available within 50 miles of Rochester. After several hours of calls I found a room 60 miles east. A fiasco!

Shut down whole business. No notice. No alternative. Lousy surprise.

This Super 8 was sold around June 1 and goes by Webster Inn. They had no record of our reservation by hotels.com and we paid for a room. Facility undergoing renovations. Our room just passable. Requesting full refund from Hotels.com!

Outside property unkepted. Weeds and garbage. Desk attendant no uniform and lacked bedside manner. Rooms rug was, sorry to say, “gross”. Bathroom 🚽 toilet didn’t work and many fixtures had “rust” all over.

This place wasn't just unclean, it was near building code violation messed up.

The room was not well kept. Stool was nasty looking, water faucet handle was unstable. One light did't work, carpet and flooting in bathroom looks bad. Would not stay tbere again. Only good thing was it was chesp!

I don’t plan on trying to stay here again in the future. First, when I walked in there was empty coffee cups on the floor and dirt everywhere. Another patron was in front of me and the clerk was trying to figure out a room for him but was having trouble and the lobby was starting to fill up with other people. She didn’t communicate the problem and it just took forever. When I went to check in, the clerk told me that there were no rooms available. When I mentioned that I had a reservation she said that they were overbooked and didn’t seem to care. She did seem very overwhelmed though. Behind me another patron said that we could have their room because they were leaving because they found bed bugs! We left immediately with no intention of going back.

Nice guys at the front desk. The bulding is s dump. The AC unit looks like it came from WWII, the front right corner wallpaper is coming down and decor and furniture is shabby at best. If this was priced at around $59 that would be fair ... no rooms in the area when I was here so it was my last choice.. and that's what it should be for you

Needs to be fixed up - bathroom wall had a hole, wallpaper ripped up, pretty surprising.

The toilet clogged over nothing. When I went to the front desk and asked for a plunger, they didn't know where it was, told me another guest had asked for it and they couldn't find it, them sent me on my way. We were one of at least 2 guests that couldn't use the toilet for the rest of our stay and we checked out early.

This used to be a nice hotel. However, I will never stay here again. The bathroom was dirty. There was no extra toilet paper and no tissues. I went out to the front desk to ask for extra towels and was told they didn’t have any. The front desk clerk said he would have to wash the ones I had and give them back to me. Then I try to go to bed and people are screaming at each other out in the hall and allowing their children run up and down the halls. Not to mention, once they realized I had a dog, they would tease her through the door. After having to listen to this until 2 in the morning, I finally called the front desk and told the guy if he didn’t take care of this situation, I would call the police. To top it off, I check out the following morning (I was booked for 2add’l days). The girl offers me a refund, however the manager won’t be in until 9. She states she will discuss with the manager and call me. At 11 am, I call the hotel and ask to speak to her. The guy says she has stepped out. I ask to speak with the manager, and guess who the manager is? She is! I say I will call back. I do so, and she is still out of the office. However, the guy states, they discussed my situation and I need to call Expedia for the refund. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for!

The bed was comfortable but many cosmetic things need fixing. Stains on towels, a hole in the bathroom behind the door. Breakfast just a muffin and coffee. Location was good for a brief stay.

The hotel was dirty and smelled horrible! It was completely sketchy.

Room was disgusting, no smoking signs everywhere entire building smelled like marijuana in the hallways, mold and mildew in bathroom, microwave rusted out, sheets look liked they weren’t changed, tv didn’t work, dresser drawers had tape to hold them open,

The light at the bathroom was not working, one mattress was too damaged, they never clean the room and there wasn't any breakfast. The bathroom has a noise from the tubes that scared us at midnight, and it is not smoking but the smell of weed was awful.

The two desk clerks that were there at 3:00PM and 5:30 were very nice.
