Thought this was such a stylish hotel, hotel bar was great and the rooms were lovely. Subway just over the road (tube), staff very nice and friendly and the location was convenient for shopping, central park bars and restaurants

Very nice hotel with comfortable rooms and high style, plus convenient location. Only negatives were that hotel does not have a lot of amenities or services, plus a few basics were missing such as glass drinking glasses. A hotel room should have at least 4 real glasses. The Romer just had 2 paper cups.

Good place to stay at a reasonable price for New York. Don’t eat at the Café, the Latte was watery, and the croissants were stale. Housekeeper Dapné was wonderful and took good care of us.

Loved everything about it: Cleanliness, decor, helpful staff, location and more. We were walking minutes away from our Broadway show and fancy restaurant. The decor, fixtures and finished werr super cool, kinda art deco and modern, too. The bed was amazing! We requested and were granted late checkout, no problem. Would definitely stay there again.

I absolutely enjoyed every aspect of Romer. It was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Being a solo female traveler in NY, I had my concerns and wanted friendly, attentive staff; best location (short walk to attractions and transportation); 24h security and front desk… the hotel had everything I looked for. I felt 100% safe with the friendly staff that were ready to support anytime day and night. Cannot ask for better location. 1 minute walk to the subway station and walking distance to broadway, timesquare, Central Park…. Everything you need is within walking distance. Convenience store, restaurants, liquor store… everything! It was also the cleanest hotel. I’m a bit of a clean freak and always get the icks no matter how well it seems to be cleaned. But Romer was CLEAN! not one thing I’d complain. The bed was also very comfortable. The blinds completely blackout. Even the coffee shop staff, extremely friendly and helpful. They even went out of their way to prepare my coffee ahead of time because I was running late. I’m so glad I booked and stayed here. I actually cancelled my second booking to extend my stay here. I just knew nothing would beat this place for the price. The staff were so responsive too. They cater to your every need. They truly take care of their guests.
