Rosen Inn, closest to Universal

Its a good middle of the road property not a ritz but definitely not a motel 6 its a good clean safe place with a really nice staff

the bathroom is too small，and no slipper，the towel quality is not very good

One of the most dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The property was so outdated it looked like all the decor and furnishings were from when they first opened. Staff needless to say was not friendly and they to were not clean. The only bright spot was Simon at the main gate that greeted us.

Nice place to stay with family and without,shuttle service for parks,after busy spending time in parks you have an option to relax in pool, clining every day,no smells in the room,we are satisfied with hotel price and service.

The Restaurant and bar staff was wonderful and it was 5 mins from Universal

It is a safe hotel with convenience to restaurants and shopping.

They offer moving to and from the airport and thats false. Also my room smelled like somebody was smoking in the room while we were there was horrible smell.

Everything almost good, but I had to pay $70.00 for the breakfast when in the reservation said that the breakfast was included.

It was okay for what we needed. Location close to universal. Has a shuttle but the shuttle does close down pretty early so if you want to stay till close at universal you'll need other. Not sure where the miscommunication was, but we booked this hotel as it said it could accommodate 5 vs similar priced hotels in the area. We selected the room for five, clearly stated, it was just a bit more expensive then other hotels in the area like the one my parents stayed in a few blocks down that had a max of 4 clearly stated. For us it was better than paying for two rooms in their hotel, so that was still the right call we felt. When we arrived late at night we got to our room and it only had two full beds. I went to the desk and was told it was their biggest room. They have no rooms for 5 here. I COULD purchase (at an additional charge $$ for each night) a rollaway bed. But I struggle with why that would not have been included in a room selection clearly for five and the bed added to the room before we got there being that was what we requested. I don't know who the mix up on, Expedia or the hotel, but it felt like a bait and switch at the property and resulted in a very expensive room. We would likely have made a different decision if we'd known. There are some family resorts in the universal area that would've cost us about the same at this point that we passed over for the savings of this property. Just information families need to make an informed decision!

I stayed here in the past with my parents but as a teen you don't remember the importance of the hotel just the theme parks. Now as an adult who paid for it, this was a great stay! First off, there's a security gate to the building so it limits who can just waltz into the parking lot which is a nice piece of mind. I was checked in by Manny who was great and very informative and made check-in a breeze. The room was super clean and the large window was great for natural light. We didn't get to try the restaurant or pool since this was a short trip but we did go into the gift shop for a second and the lady working it greeted us as soon as we rounded the corner. From the outside it looks like a plain building possibly dated but overall the staff, the room was great and the rooms were not dated like some places are.

Nice hotel

My room was in the outdoor, motel-style building. The ac unit made me sick; too musty and needed to be cleaned. Housekeeping woke me up at 8 am daily, not from knocking on my door but from banging their carts around and loudly talking to each other. There was also a garbage pick-up service that was there making crazy loud bangs at 6 am for 2 of the 4 nights I was there. All of the above was very frustrating.

Older but Clean and Upgraded hotel. Centrally located too!

We really enjoyed the surround area, but this hotel was not what we expected. The room smell like urine and meldew with cleaning products on top. We had to get used to the smell and almost asked for our money back. Not recommended if you are used to getting decent hotels.
