I was truly impressed as soon as I walked into the lobby of the Sleep Inn of Joplin, Missouri. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Accommodations were great and our stay went other than a tornado warning the following morning. I commend the staff for giving us safety tips and areas to go to! Good job! (There was NO tornado and the green light was given)

While near a highway, and a truck stop, it was surprisingly quiet and restful. The desk staff was cordial and helpful. Overall a nice experience.

The room itself was clean and comfortable. The problem was with the incidental hold. They never refunded it and every time I called I was told the same thing 7-10 business days it would be reversed. It’s been over a month and the money still hasn’t been reversed.

We had reserved an accessible room for my husband who uses a wheelchair. We were going to a wedding and wanted to be able to change at the hotel. We called ahead and asked if we could check in just 30 minutes early as it takes us a little while longer to get in and out. They went out of their way to get the room ready for us. It made a big difference. The giy at the desk that evening was very kind as well.

There was mini m&m under the desk on the floor, the room smelled like weed and the hallway like nasty dog, the room was nauseating and they said they couldn’t move us. We got febreze from the front desk, spray the room heavily, turn the fan on full blast and had to leave for a good while.
The place has potential though, staff was nice enough, the bed was comfortable. If the room had actually been cleaned and actually been “smoke free” it would have been very nice.
