Roami at Duncan Plaza

The unit itself was spacious and clean but the property has a horrible smell that lingers into the unit.

The host Lance never responded when I needed him. The number he gave went straight to the company in whatever state they're in. Also I left my tablet after checkout and 2 days later when they said they finally cleaned the room they did not see it. I know I left it there. Shame on the cleaning crew for keeping it! Never will I use Romi again. Thiefs

So the pictures make this property look amazing. I will say it was fine for 2 nights. The location is a 10/10. Very easy to walk everywhere. The unit was very clean, 10/10. The unit was clearly from the 90’s and the furniture was very worn. But the unit was HUGE! It’s clear it been used a lot. The beds were very comfy as well. The area is sketchy and I wouldn’t feel comfortable walking alone at night. The building has an interesting smell and the building owners, likely not Roami, don’t take care of it. Parking is across the street which was convenient but a very dirty garage as well. I was concerned leaving my car there but we had no issues. Typical NOLA atmosphere.

Security at front was very helpful and nice. Safe environment. Very clean and comfortable place to stay while on vacation. Everything is walking distance shopping plazas, all restaurants, excursions

I like how I didn’t have to use a key to get in and out of the hotel . I love how it was 5 min walk from bourbon st & 8 min walk to the grocery store if you needed anything . Parking garage across the street. Everything is just near so you don’t have to use Uber if you don’t want too

Had a good stay. The place was clean, had everything you might need (fridge, microwave, iron). Comfortable stay, bourbon st is about to streets away. Parade route is about 3 streets away. Easy uber pick up and drop off. Would stay again if needed.

This property has a very strong smell in the lobby of dried up mold, and mildew the elevator smells like it’s urine. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone EVER

The room was clean and stocked well and very spacious. The property was nice and located in a great spot just a short walk to all the fun spots. I will be staying here again

It was a good experience. The place is the size of a one bedroom apartment. The couch in the living room folds out to a bed. The kind size bed is a really good mattress. The only downside would be the limited towels. I stayed for 4 days and barely had enough towels to last. Inquire about towels if u plan to stay for a while. It also had a washer and dryer. Just think 1 bedroom apartment, furnished, because that’s what this is. I would definitely book again.

The entire building has a putrid rotting fish smell. From reading reviews, this has been the case for years, so do not think you will avoid it. The place is run down. Looks way worse in person than the photos. Stay at a real hotel, not this place.

Overall was very happy with the room and location. It’s in a perfect location and the room was clean. That being said the lobby and the hallways reeked of a terrible stench. I mean…awful smell. Luckily the room didn’t smell.

Great experience! Easy check-in and check-out, beautiful room with a lot of space and everything you could need. Great location easily walkable to everywhere you want to be in NOLA - highly recommend!

The lobby continuously STUNK of trash and made it difficult to breathe from entry to room. Fortunately the room was spared the smell, but the room itself was filthy with water stains in the ceiling, loose tiles in the bathroom and mold in the shower. Clearly evidence of water damage that was never repaired, but painted over and chipped/peeling paint on the ceiling. I don't know what type of "facility" this is, but based on some of those entering, it appeared to serve almost as a half-way house. No lighting on exterior of building in the middle of a street block.

Great stay only complaint is we didn’t receive access code but once we got in touch with customer service it was a pleasant stay and we will be back again

It is really a studio apartment. Had a good sized refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, 2 burner stove top, coffeemaker toaster washer and dryer. It was clean and nicely updated. I noted a few details that could used more attention. I’m not sure if I liked the memory foam king size mattress, it’s hard to roll over to a different sleeping position. The halls and elevators had a peculiar smell. The kitchen lacked a few details that prevented full functionality. It is what I needed and walking distance to train station and bourbon street. A very good value.

My teen daughter and I stayed here for the Eras tour concert in October. We felt safe in this area. You are required to have a unique code to enter the building and your unit. There was a 24/7 security officer in the lobby as well. Very walkable and we door dashed a couple of times and that was easy also. It was roomy, quiet, clean. Only issue was the TV was supposed to have a firestick but it was missing. I reached out to the maintenance and no one ever came or helped. So we didn’t use the TV. We would stay here again if we were to come back to NOLA.

EARLY RISERS ONLY! Church bells next door start at 7AM and chime every 15 minutes until midnight. It’s a great place with a great location but if you want to sleep after 7am, you better have earplugs! It is a miserable location for late night party people.

Property is clean. The studio apartment is very nice. Includes washer and dryer Amenities of the property are great gym, business center, pool

Stay was ok. Apartment did not have face towels, sofa was filthy could not sit on it. No blanket for the sofa bed and smoke alarms were beeping
