South Coast Winery Resort and Spa

I liked how foxy the villa was.

Beautiful spacious room. Everything was clean. Wish the bathtub was jetted. Being a winery it would be nice if there was a welcome glass of wine or champagne. Or at least able to purchase by the glass after the restaurant is closed.

South Coast Winery Hotel was a comfortable place to stay for our couples getaway. The service was excellent in both the restaurant and busy tasting room. The overall property and our villa room were a touch outdated.

Lovely Villa! Felt like we were in Italy with the gorgeous architecture, stone bathroom etc. Very clean room- pristine actually. Nice fireplace. Helpful staff. Beautiful pool and hot tub with poolside bar. Property is a working vineyard with an excellent restaurant, wine tasting and room service. We tried it all! We’d love to visit again.

Perfect location and view. Arroya Blue (sp?) at South Coast Winery & Spa was amazing at check in and check out. Most friendly I’ve had met in a very long time at hotels.

Wonderful staff. Wine tasting while sitting outside at sunset was magical and wine excellent. Only disappointment was resort restaurant.

This is the second time we stayed here. It was convenient for us.

Awesome winery at this property, has to be the best in Temecula. Great restaurant too. Property itself a bit on the older side and did not like that we did not have full use of spa facilities along with the gym, bu overall a great stay and beautiful scenery.

All was excellent

We had a lovely stay. The service was amazing Julio and Bobby took wonderful care of us at the Vineyard Rose Restaurant for breakfasts. We had a lovely dinner for the family the day after Christmas, lovely (the waitress had long brown hair) with great staff. Had a facial and a massage with Agnus a the Grape Seed Spa wonderful service! Had one odd encounter with the "manager" in the restaurant when we asked about having Christmas dinner. It was sold out, and I asked to have our name added to the waitlist. She said no, we have already checked with everyone who is coming. Curt, and unfriendly, When we went to our "table" the restaurant was empty, but 3 other tables eating when the manager went to seat us I asked if we could sit at a table that was private. No, we are full, No one else came in to eat. For some reason, it felt like an odd power dynamic reaction which was confusing. My husband and I were very kind, and considerate and left it after each of her responses, which included rolling her eyes. I went back after our breakfast and said I didn't understand why we could not put our name on a waitlist in case someone gets sick etc. She said, "fine. I will put your name on the waitlist". I followed her to the host stand, assuming she was going to write our name and number down, she seemed surprised to see me I asked if she needed my number, and she rolled her eyes again and said I already have it. Probably from our OpenTable reservation.

Check inn at kiosk did not work! Long lines at check in not enough help. No bath towels. Small towels old and falling apart.

Always a nice place and one of the best Hotel Gyms I’ve ever seen!

Shower was hard to turn on and then wouldn’t shut off. Had to call maintenance late at night to come turn it off

We have stayed here many times before because it is such a wonderful place to get away!
