St Michaels Inn

We spilled some water on the carpet and wiped it up with a white towel- which came up black. Crumbs around bed frame. We were there for the IronMan and would be leaving the hotel at 0430 on Sunday and I asked the older woman at the desk if there was any opportunity to get an early breakfast or a grab bag and she stated they were not doing that this year in a not so friendly tone. The younger man at the desk at the same time was very friendly. Went to get clean towels upon return to the hotel that night and there were no washcloths available- the woman who was friendly at the desk said that the hotel had just been so busy-

Pool was clean and enjoyable . Rooms were ok, staff were super accommodating .

The comforter appeared to have a white crusty spot..I know you can't wash them after every client, but maybe an effort to spray/spot clean..? Our room Wasn't ready 15/20 minutes before check in time but was ready exactly 2 minutes before we returned..so wondering if the sheets on the 2 double beds were even changed? I left a tip anyway because I know what the housekeepers must have to deal with..

The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was very minimal

They need to pay more attention to the cleanliness of the rooms. When you enter the room and it smells musty that is not a good sign. There are no screens on the window so u cannot air the room out. Unfortunately when u enter the building it smells like people are smoking pot/weed.You are told at the front desk and signs are clearly posted on the doors no smoking. The continental breakfast was filled with pastries and bread during the week and lacked the Eggs and bacon or sausage they put out on Saturday mornings. There was a medley of fresh fruit for Saturday. The front desk Manager Claus was pleasant and helpful. There are staff cleaning the rooms on site. Maybe there needs to be Security Cameras inside the building hallways we dont know. There is value in staying at St Michaels Inn its very cloae to the Main Town. Just please invest in attention to detail and the place can be so much more appreciated.

Advertised breakfast included. Thursday morning there was hot eggs & sausage along with bread for toast, bagels, cereal, milk, yogurt, etc. On Friday morning there was no hot food & one slice of regular bread for toast. Very disappointing. Would only change towels if requested, no mention of changing sheets. Spent two nights and had to use the same wash cloth for two days. Don’t mind using towel more than once but no room cleaning at all

Safe and comfortable motel, very convenient location

I found the hotel to be quaint. Provided a safe space to stay and close enough to get to the main areas. As well as visit other regions of the shore.

Away from the hustle and noise of downtown St. Michaels...

Property early 50s

The rooms are so outdated. The bedding was nice, comfortable. Beds were on odd frames, one was completely off center with parts tripping us. The chairs are straight out of the 70’s. They were very busy so I’d say they need to spend some of that money on updating their rooms.

Nice staff, good breakfast buffet. Room was a bit dated, but for the price, it was ideal for a short weekend stay.

We had a great stay I think it's a great value

Personnel were quite friendly and helpful. Huge property. Bit further from downtown St. Michaels than thought (my issue). Given the distance and property, it was not worth the amount paid, an error on my part. Did not pay attention to the details or location when booked in December. Assumed with the name of the inn, it would be 'downtown'. I let life get in the way and never researched, etc.

Property was clean, staff was great

Overall ok but a little dog-eared. Very basic but it worked for one night. The front desk folks were super kind! My biggest complaint was the musty odor in the room. They need to use an air freshener system for sure. The breakfast was basic as well but did the job. Coffee was the worst and cream seem watered down. Luckily Rise Up Coffee is right next door and saved the day.

The location was perfect for our plans in St Michaels. The staff was friendly. the breakfast area was bright and spacious. We have stayed here previously. The price is right.
