Only 2 things I didn’t care for: 1. Having to wait for someone to come and check us in 2. Bed sheets felt a little rough Overall decent stay though.

Check in was a disaster. Received an email from the property to check in thru the app. Downloaded the app and then tried to check in right at 3pm. Said room was not ready. Tried again for the next 3 hours and kept saying the same thing. We finally went to the property to see when we could check in and the manager said oh we don't do the app check in, your rooms been ready since 3. Could not have cared less we had been waiting 3 hours for our room and they were at cause for delay. Inside room: No mixing bowls, nothing to use to cook in oven, no sponge to wash dishes. Definitely not a full kitchen as described.

One of my tvs didn’t work and staff was not able to help. Front desk hours said 7am - 5pm. The front desk area remained locked until around 10am. When housekeeping was told that no one was at the front desk, they said that that occurs every day. I loved the room, but customer service was not that great (except housekeeping). Housekeeping was excellent!

The staff was so helpful, They were writing down addresses for the grocery store, downtown, the beach. Loved the apt. Thanks Melanie for a great stay! Maiya and Sherry

This property was great for our visit with local family. The suite was spacious and featured the kitchen and sitting room in the front and the bedroom in the back with the bathroom dividing the two. Things we liked include clean bathroom, bedroom and kitchen area. The beds were comfortable. There was also easy access to the nearby interstate. We do have a few problems to mention. The kitchen is full-sized with a full fridge, stove/oven, microwave and dishwasher, but there was a deficiency in the outfitting of the kitchen. There was only a handful of silverware, a few bowls and plates, a few cups, and a single pot and pan to do any cooking. Had we used the kitchen anymore than we did, we would have had to go buy dishwashing supplies in order to do so. Also, the building is built as an inverted motel, which means all hotel access doors faced an outdoor courtyard. A heavy storm blew through while we were there and water seeped into the living area under the door. This probably could have been prevented if there had been a rubber strip installed along the bottom of the door. Thankfully, none of our belongings were in the area. Also, the walkway to the elevator and stairs could get slick with standing water after a storm. Overall, this was a great place for us to spread out and enjoy a few days with our family. I imagine it would also be good for an extended period, as long as you are well equipped to meet the deficiencies in the kitchen.

The management was excellent, attentive, and available. The room was clean, but there were some things broken - bathroom door handle, window shades. The other patrons were respectable, but rough around the edges. Too much smoking/THC use in common areas.

Nice area, easy access to freeway. I stayed here because I wanted the kitchen to cook meals for my Navy Sailor. Room / Apt was decent - had to ask for a new shower curtain, as ours was muddy from prior resident. Bed was comfortable, but some money should be invested in nicer sheets. They were rough and uncomfortable. The blanket that was brought for the hide a bed had been scorched by an iron and wasn't very nice. There were some cosmetic fixes (scratched walls, etc) that could be fixed. There is a common area, with a BBQ, and patio seating which was nice in the evening. There is no pool, which I knew prior to booking. Housekeeping only comes if you plan to stay for more than 7 days, so we never had fresh towels or sheets. Not a big deal, but might be for others. I liked the idea of the apartment, but I am not sure if I would chose this hotel again.

Staff, particularly the front desk was very responsive. The location is adjacent to the interstate and downtown Charleston is easily accessible.

While check in was a bit frustrating - the mobile check in kept saying our room wasn’t ready & there was no one at the front desk - the agent who check us in was super nice and friendly. The property itself was nice but our safety was questionable. First night when we pulled up there was a random man who walked up to us with a bloody nose and a bag saying he couldn’t order an uber. The room was decent. There was random hair everywhere like it could use a good dusting and the humidity was so terrible that the pillows in the bedroom just felt wet. The comforter was EXTREMELY thin and cheap and the pullout sofa was an insult. There’s no way someone should have to sleep on that. But the staff was exceptional and it did serve our needs, especially since we needed to bring our doggy with us on a last minute trip. Probably wouldn’t return but could have been a worse experience.

The whole stay was perfect for our family. The workers at check in and out were both friendly and even gave us some information to take our son beach wise where he is autistic. They also accommodated us and put us on the bottom floor so the juds wouldnt disturb others which i was so thankful for!

If you’re looking for a comfortable hotel experience. This is not the place to go. If you’re looking for partial apartment experience where you need to bring everything. Make sure to bring your linen. Ours had hair in the bed. Mildew spots on the pillow cases and extremely limited on towels. The television in our room didn’t work and there’s a switch in the front room that turns the light off in the entire room. So if you make a quick trip to the bathroom and the light doesn’t come on. This is probably why. No one told us this. I now have a better understanding of an extended stay and a hotel. They are NOT the same. I will never book a place like this again. It was not for me or my family.

Nice sized rooms. Clean. Quiet. Courtyard is nice. Grill works well. Common area trash could be emptied more often was overflowing most days. Overall nice property would stay again

This is a no frill hotel suite. The facility advertizes no smoking and makes you sign a no smoking statement at check-in. I smelled smoke when waiting at the elevator to first go to my room. Our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke which was initially hidden by an open window. My son witnessed guests smoking from a hooka in the courtyard. The carpet felt like it had a greasy film on it. I found a cigarette butt under the bathroom sink and my son found a broken comb in the closet - items that should have been found by a standard cleaning between guests. The open concrete "hallways" were dirty. The room layout was good and the bathroom was well-designed.

Initially, check-in was nice and smooth. Staff was courteous, but along the way to our room, I’m immediately noticed the interior of the property could use some housekeeping. For a new property, it had a stale, unpleasant odor, and it only got worse in the elevator. The set up of the room was nice but definitely needed a good, thorough cleaning. Hair in the tub, dirty handprint stains on the bathroom door and light switch, stained sheets that we reported but were never addressed or replaced, extremely limited kitchen amenities, and no staff on site to address any of these concerns.

The GM & owner are very nice. Our room was missing some of the needed kitchen items but they were very quick to replace the things that were not there. We were a bit disappointed when our room was not cleaned the one time they said they would clean it during our week stay. They should at least sweep/vacuum the floors, empty garbage twice during a week stay and replenish toilet paper. All in all, we do recommend staying here. It is a newer place and felt safe staying here.

This stay checked the two most important boxes for a hotel stay--comfotable accomodations and pleasant staff. We checked in about 1/2 an hour early and the front desk staff and housekeeping worked to make it possible and were extremely personable and pleasant. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were some of the most comfortable hotel beds I've experienced and obviously freshly cleaned. The bathroom fixtures were spotless, but the fan was overdue for a good vacuum. Although the kitchen was functional, there were no forks or any sort of baking pan (probably stolen by previously guests). I had brought forks, but we couldnt heat up our snacks. Even though our room looked out at the highway, it was not loud or distracting, but there was some sound carrying from within the hotel.we didn't use the courtyard, but it was a cute feature. It was a ways out of town but convenient from the highway. Overall a great place to land for a few days.

Made reservations months ago. Two days prior to reservation, I received a call that our 2 room reservations could not be honored. Left us high & dry!!!
