Super 8 by Wyndham Chico

Did not use room due to condition. I keep being told that i reserved a smoking room in a state that is is illegal to smoke in hotels. The room was so disgusting that we couldn't stay in it and they where un willing to either change our room, or cancel the rest of our 2 night stay. Every time i tryed to talk to anyone about the issues i was told that the manager was un available. I had to get a completely different hotel. This was by far the worst experience

The staff is very nice. The building is clean, a little outdated in the corridors and common areas, but the room was nice and bed clean and comfy.

Average type of budget motel

Good basic hotel. Not fancy, but clean and got the job done. Staff was polite and helpful.

Dirty the housekeeper took my bottles and cans i was saving. Beds were horrible you could feel the springs. When it was time to check out i needed a paper receipt for work and the girl was very rude and would not print it so i had to go baxk after work and ask for it.

Rooms and bedding were basically okay. I've stay here about 10 years. It located at the end of the court next to motel 6, dbl tree and dennys. Hasn't changed much but For the price and amenities compared to others it was decent. I like that not much traffic. Fairly quiet although i can hear ppl upstairs walking and near the stairway but after 10pm was quiet and felt safe. No elevators. Had a pool. Free Continental breakfast make your waffles was a nice touch. This hotel met my expectations. My cons, maybe some up grades is needed to stay competitive, walk-in shower, carpet, tv to small, more lighting, bedding and pillows. Overall a decent stay.

The staff was nice and accommodating. The rooms were perfect for a quick stay for me and my aging parents. Plenty of parking and easy access to everything. I was pleasantly surprised.

This is still a Super 8, regardless of Windham ownership. That said, this lodging was perfectly acceptable for the price, considering this was graduation weekend in Chico, CA, where this Inn is located. The location is very quiet, and for our stay, so were the guests, despite this being graduation weekend. The bed was standard Windham; only three, pretty firm pillows per (comfy) mattress set. The rest of the room appointments are standard Sup8. HVAC was easy to control from the unit (no thermostat), was quiet and worked well (+++). This was an accessibility designed room so the bathroom has a lot of space and someone could roll right into the shower in an appropriate chair. Shower has both standard and handheld shower head. Pressure was fine but in this room, they both flowed water- no selection. Plumbed shower head is too low. Better to cap that off and put a second hanger for the handheld up high enough so an average height person can stand under it. Bath linens are really poor. My bath towel would rather roll up when wiped across my body than wick up water- I seriously considered using the terry bathmat to dry myself as the towel was so recalcitrant. Otherwise, no qualms. I was able to shower completely with very minimal issue. Breakfast was standard Sup8. Coffee was hot and decent but... THIS IS FOR WINDHAM, PUT IN ONE OF THOSE AWESOME, BREW-AS-YOU-DRAW coffee machines at this location and I would give a FIVE STAR RATING!

If everything else is booked up this would be a roof over your head

Easy access to the freeway

They have no elevator to accommodate the 2nd and 3rd floor. No luggage trolley to accommodate the guest. It is supposed to be a smoke free area and the entire 1st floor was full of cigarette smoke. Personally I will not stay there again. My vehicle needed repairs so I had to budget, but there should still be accommodation for disabled and I’m 100% disabled

i need to use the internet for an important webinar and the wifi connection is terrible

Decent room, clean but needed some repairs. Bed was good. Breakfast wasn’t great. The big negative was 3 floors no elevator

I was super impressed with the security car in the middle of the night in the parking lot. Thank you. Dirty carpet and the smell of cigarettes was gross. As far as the breakfast by 8:30 there wasn’t much left…no protein to gather, bread was out. Staff at front desk was amazing.

Front desk staff was nice and got us checked in right away. Our accommodations were good- the room was in good shape and we had everything that we needed.

The last at the front desk was great, but the rooms are run down, there was a burn hole in my comforter, the walls in the bathroom were dirty but the shower was clean. The room was generally clean, but old and dated.
