We spent one night in Ithaca on a longer road trip. The hotel is next door to a Wegman's Grocery. We had a nice dinner there before tucking in. The room was comfortable and safe.

We reserved our room, and had initially expected to arrive around 6pm. However, we were running QUITE late with an ETA around 10-10:15pm.
While on the highway, my wife tried calling just to make sure we still had the room a good hour before arrival, and THAT was not a source of great frustration! After 20 minutes of trying to get this confirmation, we opted to just get there.
The evening/night manager in the reception was REALLY nice and we got our key.
The room was very enjoyable and clean - recently refurbished was our guess. The bed and pillows were REALLY comfortable and the room was very very quiet. There was complimentary coffee in the room, as well as complimentary breakfast just off of the reception.
We highly recommend this Super 8 if you are planning a stay or overnight in Ithaca, and we felt the room rate was within reason.

The vibes of the hotel were horrible. We weren’t even greeted when we walked in and the first room that we were given, was dirty with a broom in it and stuff all over the bed. The second room had to be checked to make sure that it was clean prior And wasn’t fitting for us. Overall, I stayed for 30 minutes and left.

Old, run down, questionable people hanging out behind the hotel later in the day and into the night (on the corner of a very busy intersection). I wanted to take an Epsom Salt bath after hiking all day and they have absolutely no drain plugs for their bathtubs in any rooms. Apparently they had a bathtub leak once. Also the hot water in the showers stops at ‘lukewarm’. No way to enjoy a hot shower. Very expensive at $161 per night for a piece of crap property! (Was there 2 nights)

I wouldn’t recommend to go there. The staff was very nasty and I’m just and very unkind. Very hasty my room had a use towel laying in the bathtub.

Negatives were extremely strong smell of disinfectant cleaner. Open window and door, turned on AC. Could not dim it was so. Strong. Permeated clothing when got home after 1 night. Arrived late and stuck it out. Bathroom had footprints on bottom of wall. Very poor calling. Bed was comfortable and overall room clean with exception of need to treat with clean water or vinegar to remove cleaning solution used
