Tempo by Hilton New York Times Square

The hotel was very organized and efficient. The location was great and walkable to so much.

Clean hotel and for the most part everyone was nice except for a couple of front desk agents. The acted like they were being bothered and it’s all about tone and body language. If you are annoyed and not even making eye contact to your guests and looking at your keyboard, take a break and have someone else do it. Serious RBF for a few agents. I worked as a front desk manager at the Marriott Waterfront in Portland for 6 years- if I knew someone in my staff was having a tough day, I would swap them out to work the phones or float. Your attitude represents your company. You are the first person to interact with your guest besides your valet. Your attitude affects your staffs tips as well. I would stay there again but would rather deal with it all as self check in and not have to feel like I’m bother others.

The room was very small but well appointed and clean. There was a bar and coffee service, but they closed fairly early for New York. Other properties we stayed at had longer service and a nicer sitting area.

Location of this hotel is great if you’re attending Broadway plays, Rockefeller Center and great restaurants and Pubs. Walking distance to everything. Hotel was clean and staff superb. Will definitely be back 5*****

Excellent hotel! Clean, room is Smart controlled, right in the heart of Times Square, reasonably priced for NY. I give this hotel a 10+++++ rating. Would definitely stay again at Tempo!!

Location is everything definitely very convenient spot if you are in town for a show and want to be close for an easy walk. At first worried about the area knowing how busy it is, but was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to access and leave the

Tempo by Hilton was amazing! The hotel is very modern and luxurious. You walk outside of your hotel and you are in Times Square. We had the Deluxe King Bed/ City View room and it was perfect us. Don’t pass up on this hotel! Beware there is a $51 per night tax that isn’t included when you book the hotel.

It was weird that the lobby was on the 11th floor but the room and location were great.

Fantastic location, especially for theater. This hotel looked beautiful and the bed was very comfortable, but the elevators weren’t working correctly the whole weekend (key cards didn’t work in the elevator), and the room’s electronics were a little hard to get used to (e.g., every time we came into the room, the shades would automatically go up and the bathroom light was on a motion detector that turned off if we sat on the toilet too long). Too much form over function.

Very Clean and extremely convenient to the theater district. Recommend the corner room with the view. Compact room but excellent view.

Great stay!

We were very pleased with our stay. Big props for having useful mirrors. The bathroom was clean and really like the motion lighting. We stayed on the 19th floor, the room was quiet, altough we do use a sound machine to really drown out all the noise. The AC only went down to 68, but it stayed pretty cool over night. Big props for having a shelf in the shower for your own shower stuff. That is huge for us, so many hotels don't have them. The hotel is right in time square, so prepare for a very busy walk after 4PM. Easy access to the subway! Staff was very friendly, bar was expensive but nice.
