I used to work in a hotel a long, long time ago. Still, whenever I travel I can’t help but compare service to the way I was trained. The Godfrey is one of the very few hotels that I have been to in the past 20+ years where I felt that everyone on staff had been trained to the standards that I learned. Without exception, the staff was courteous, dressed professionally, and seemingly eager to assist in any way they could to make our stay enjoyable. They are doing the little things right and I highly recommend the Godfrey.

It was a great stay only thing book for wrong day staff could accommodate so had to go to another hotel for the previous night.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, the staff was helpful and kind. Both the café and the restaurant there were awesome. Great location as well. All of the theaters and Boston Common, many restaurants are all within walking distance.
Our biggest and only complaint is that we had the corner executive suite on the seventh floor and we could not sleep all night because of the noise level outside the hotel. It was so loud you could even hear people talking outside on the streets. All we heard was loud cars, motorcycles and cars honking their horns until about 3 AM.

Tv remote was dead in room then tv service was frozen or glitchy for 2 day. Word however was the noise . First 2 nights bad with street noise but then Friday night the music from a club was so loud I could sleep until it stopped at 1am. Had to get up for flight at 4:30. Zero sound dampened from hallway as well.

We had a wonderful stay at the Godfrey. Friendly staff at check in and all round friendly and helpful. We stayed as a family with a seven year old daughter. It was a great location, great vibe, clean and comfortable. If we ever return to Boston, this is where we’d stay.

It was centrally located easy access to the subway and very close to the freedom trail. Lovely location for shopping and restaurants. I would stay there again.

From check in to check out , staff are always bear the hospitality spirit , service , from housekeeping to bellman , are all on thier A point position ready and happy to assist you . Will come back again to this property upon my return to Boston.
