Nice student staff and comfortable rooms.

Lovely lobby, exceptionally clean and spacious rooms. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Preston’s was a hit for dinner last night. A bit pricey but we didn’t have to leave the hotel. Highly recommended place to stay!

The room we stayed in was clean and neat. It was conveniently located near Va Tech.

I love staying at the Inn at Virginia Tech when I want to spend some time in Blacksburg. The Continental Divide bar has wonderful craft cocktails like Shrubbery Afoot. It has a light feel, perfect for summer. My room was cleaned and looking perfect every day that I stayed. I like the large parking area as well. I had a wonderful time.

Comfortable and very friendly staff. A little dated but also has a pretty cool look. Breakfast buffet was great - not included but only $13 - worth it.

Great hotel and great location. Wonderful bar and restaurant. Room was quiet and clean. Walkable to downtown Blacksburg and restaurants.

Amazing

The morning of check out the hotel lost power. I had taken a shower and was unable to dry my hair or get myself and my clothes ready for the multiple interviews that I had that day. The hotel did not have emergency lighting in the area that I was in and did not have a generator, or at least a working generator. No explanation or information was provided.

The ice bucket still had water in it. The mattresses and pillows are so uncomfortable.

The staff was very helpful when we needed to change our reservations. We had an excellent stay!

Quiet, pleasant and comfortable room.

We were disappointed with the bathroom . The tub is slippery and there were no bars to hold on to. I had to shower while holding on the curtain bar with one hand . And get in and out very carefully . Do you offer rooms with showers instead of tubs ? These days do guests really prefer laying in a little tub of fast cooling water ? The facility was otherwise perfect . Herman Amelink R 210.

All was outstanding

The Inn at Virginia Tech is exactly what you might expect from a hotel that's not been significantly renovated in a couple of decades. It's old-school alumni/football weekend campus lodging, but the facilities are well-kept and the staff are exceptionally friendly. We didn't find the chairs in our room (one to lounge, one more of a dining table chair of sorts, and one desk chair) to be terribly comfortable, and it would've been great if the TVs had had some sort of ability to stream (using our accounts), as some more recently refreshed hotels do now. We also noticed the hinge on the bathroom door desperately needed a shot of WD40. All that said, we had three comfortable-ish nights here and would probably choose to stay here again if we were in town.

We just slept there but didn't get to experience the amenities. Staff we interacted with were great. No instructions on how to do room-to-room calls and had to call the front desk to find out. Had a weird situation with a guy with a lawn trimmer, but he only went directly by our window when our window was open. Really wasn't expecting seeing that. Maybe schedule lawn trimmer services mid-day vs in the morning when people are getting ready to leave.

Beautiful property in perfect location on edge of VT campus. Good size room. Comfortable furniture. Nice design. Friendly staff. Worth the cost. Hope to book it for grandson’s graduation in a couple of years.

The Inn is an excellent choice. Granddaughter was graduating from Radford and hotels in Radford are overpriced. This was a convenient alternative and short drive
