Reception staff was welcoming and informative. Room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Nice view of the lake from our room window. Pleasant evening sunset walk along the lake shore and around the harbor.

The building is a bit dated but has been maintained. The property has a nice view of Lake Michigan and is close to restaurants and the museum in downtown Manitowoc. We'll definitely consider the property again if we're in the area.

This is an underrated property in Manitowoc. Pros: Clean, recently remodeled rooms and free breakfast. Friendly staff and super fast check-in. Cons: Breakfast is right next to the check-in desk, so if you want to sit and eat, you have to walk all the way to the dining room on the other side of the pool and bar. Oh, and the bar is not open, nor is there any food service. Otherwise, if you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay in the downtown area, this is the place.

We enjoyed it for our one night stay - it was walkable to the downtown Manitowoc area which is what we came for. Not much staff around to really comment on, but the hotel was quiet and near the water which was nice.

The hotel was ok, nothing terrible, rooms had some dust webs in the corners or the room, room was nice, kind of small. The young man working over night,was very quiet, i am alway up early so was down in the lobby early. Thought he might ask if i wanted coffee or anything, like i said was not talkative at all. The other thing that really is a disappointment in a hotel this nice, is the dress code of the employees. The young man that checked us in was jeans and t-shirt. Young man at night was sweet pants, flannel hoodie type thing and bedroom slippers. What has happened to the dress code policy in some of these places. Its not like it was a motel 6, we paid $199.00 for the night and I guess my expectations are higher for that price. Also they have a bar in this establishment and was not open on a Saturday night, that is odd. We actually were going to have a drink and then noticed it was closed. Not good for this type of place. Just very disappointing

We love staying here and choose this hotel each time we visit family in Two Rivers. It's always quiet, clean, the rooms are well updated and they always have reliable coffee and creamer waiting in the lobby each morning. The staff always greets you kindly. We weren't able to make use of the bar this time around due to limited open dates/times and private bookings but we finally got to use the hot tub. Super quiet and chill. We'll continue staying here to visit family in the area!

It was okay, for the room cost I was expecting something a little better. I booked an accessible room and when we checked in, we were given a regular room. We went out for dinner and when we came back we couldn't get back in our room. The door latch was sticking, the front person came up and was able to get the room open, we also told him that we booked an accessible room, he did switch us, so that was nice. The breakfast was nothing special, I've had better breakfast's at Super 8's.

We really like the location close to the harbor, lighthouse, and Marina. Many walkable shops and restaurants close by. The property has been updated recently and our room was clean and nice.
