Everything was lovely, our room was upgraded at with no extra fee because we could not get on the same floor as our grandchildren, but it worked out. The pool water was a bit chilly for the adults, but the kids were fine with it.

We had a 2 BR suite for my 2 married couple kids and I took the chaise in the living room which was super comfortable believe it or not. My only complaint is we booked for 5 people and when we arrived in the room there was no set up for the 5th. I had to call down for extra bedding and they never brought and I had to just catch the housekeeper and they provided. Each day though I would have to call for a fifth set of towels as well. Would recommend if the room is for 5 people that they make sure the fifth person is provided for! Otherwise the suite was so spacious and the rooms very large which is unusual for NY

Hotel is very chic and staff is very friendly and accommodating. Only thing I did not like was a lot of loiterers outside the hotels neighbor is very intimidating.

Waited over 2 hours to check in. Yes, I realize check-in is 3 pm but I’ve never arrived to a hotel early and waited more than 30 mins for my room to be ready. They held fast to the 3 pm time and we had to wait in line at 3 pm, behind others who just walked in, to get checked in for our room after sitting for 2 hours in the lobby.
Room was large for NYC, shower leaked all of the bathroom floor. Pool was a nice amenity but the elevators were gross - dingy and dirty with peeling wallpaper. For the price, it met expectations. Don’t think I’d ever stay here again though. I’d rather pay a bit more for a better experience.

While the staff is nice and helpful and the location is convenient, this property is not a 5-star establishment—more accurately, it is closer to a 3.5-star rating. The rooms and shared spaces require upgrades and a complete revamp, as they appear a bit old and run down.

Amazing hotel and in very close to time square and Central Park. The only thing I didn’t like is there has to be lifeguard at the pool to watch you swim. Other then that great hotel and would definitely recommend it.

Didn’t care for seeing the trash every night right next to the property (maybe something about NYC can’t have dumpsters?!), and there was a mysterious large wet stain on the master bedroom floor that wouldn’t dry or go away for the duration of our stay. Housekeeping was good, when they came; had to ask one day on the weekend. Other than that, staff was awesome, room was nice and spacious, and already booked it again for our next trip to NYC!

My room had no heat the entire stay. Stayed over Christmas with record freezing temps. Maintenance tried to fix it twice & brought a portable heater instead which didn’t help and could have posed dangers. I asked to speak to the manager multiple times, left my # and never heard back. I asked for compensations for wasting thousands. Manager didn’t charge me for some nonsense resort like fee. Terrible experience. Terrible management. Will never return or recommend. I don’t want to hear a nonsense apology from management on here either.

We really enjoyed this hotel. Modern lobby. Rooms well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. Loved our breakfasts and the servers were great! The entire hotel staff couldn't have been nicer and helpful.
Cons: Bathrooms small and lacking in storage for toiletries, etc. Also, there were stains on couch that should've been cleaned.
