It's a formerly hourly motel that got some new decor what seems like quite a while ago as everything was falling apart. Big gap under the door so it was noisy - extra noisy as the others staying there were partying kids. I would say nothing if it was $200 a night but $400 was absurd. The pictures on orbitz are quite "hopeful" too.

The location was great, bed was comfy and the rain shower was wonderful! Unfortunately the deck wasn’t in use but it was easy to walk around from and see the sights in Hollywood. We walked to the Chinese Theatre, Hollywood walk of fame, etc and all the way to Beverley Hills and Rodeo Drive. It’s easy enough to get to a metro station if you want to venture further into downtown. You can also get an uber or they have parking if you drive. Overall we were there for 2 nights and had a great stay. There is a smell of cigarettes or smoke or something musty through the hall ways but the room didn’t seem to have that problem! 😊

The property is cool and artsy. It isn't in the most spectacular area but still felt relatively safe. We did have an issue with a person knocking on our door very late at night because they were able to get into the hotel somehow. Overall, it was a good stay for the price and it was close to all the things we wanted to do.

This hotel was not as advertised. It advertised a rooftop deck and bar which was closed and had been for some time. There was no inside bar. The smoke detector was hanging by a wire from the ceiling in my room. I would categorize this hotel as a motel.

We enjoyed the unique design sensibility of the hotel design. The staff was pleasant, professional and helpful. There were not a lot of breakfast options nearby and the hotel didn’t offer a continental breakfast which would be much appreciated

The bathroom was not private enough, with frosted glass, you could see through it. Made it uncomfortable for friends to share a room.
It was small, good for solo traveler spending little to no time in the room.
Front desk was friendly. Parking was easy.

The room was spacious and they did a good job cleaning daily. They had a coffee bar set out everyday which we liked. There were a few things in the room that needed fixing and to be patched up but other than that we were satisfied. Would utilize again next time we are in town.

What you see in the advertisement for this property is not what you get. Upon my arrival, the person at the desk was asleep. The rooms are smaller than depicted and could use some real renovations. Wallpaper chipped off the walls/main door and paint chipped off beams that were no longer adhered to the framing near the window. The iron in the room did not work, and the one I received from the hotel after letting them know that the iron did not work also did not work. The coffee and water stand did not have any appeal as the coffee left A LOT to be desired, and the creamer sat on the stand, not refrigerated. The rooftop that is advertised as one of the amenities on the property was poorly kept. The furniture remained uncovered and wet from the rain from the previous day. The furniture, like the property, was neglected. It was stained and torn and turned over. The reviews and pictures shown do not depict the reality of what you come into staying here. I would never stay here again.

This property was not what I thought. The pictures show a really nice cool and sheek hotel. In the end the hotel felt humid, moist, and needs some retouching in many areas. The lobby isn’t so nice to begin with. As much as I tried to put the AC on the place still felt sticky. The $35 for parking A NIGHT is ridiculous. The fact that there isn’t a fridge to keep your things cold was a big factor. I also felt like the hotel was expensive and didn’t have much amenities. The bars were closed, no gym, no pool, no laundry… I mean why be as much as a Marriott hotel A NIGHT? I really didn’t expect for the hotel to have so many negative things to point out but it did. I’m sorry I don’t normally write reviews but maybe this will help the staff members or the hotel do better.
