Great location! The boardwalk was right there, less than a minute walk away. And the beach was great - good swimming, beach volleyball, lots of shops and restaurants and live music. The property was pretty basic but felt safe and comfortable and was everything we needed. If we were to go back to the area, I would definitely stay there again.

From check in to check out it was another pleasant stay here. Staff , as usual, was friendly and courteous. Nices touches by hospitality with the bathroom. I needed a last minute place for a couple of nights and HBH is my go to.

We had issues with the room at the Palms. It had maintenance problems. we got switched to the Swan accross the street and it was a wonderful experience. Thank you Jorge for being so accomodating.

Photos of the property online appear to have been taken from a drone leading to believe it was an apartment unit located in a high rise building, and is not. The unit was very clean but housekeeping only showed one time my entire stay(5 days) with a new set of towels, never clean the unit, change the garbage or made our bed. Front desk never answered the phone, but they were professional and friendly when checking-in. Pool needs maintenance, pool water was somewhat dark, and pools are small. Location is optimal!

Honestly, one of the nastiest hotels I’ve ever stated. We pulled up later in the evening after a long drive checked in and had to pay an additional outrages fee for parking, including taxes and fees. The hotel room itself has dirt and sand on all the baseboards in the outlet covers, giving it nasty dirty vibes. Everything looks painted over
and peeling. The pullout bed had rust on the mattress no joke literally rust on the mattress from the springs. When I went to the front desk to ask for an extra set sheets and a fold out bed they claimed they had the guy said they don’t have any and just walked away and left me standing there so I was not sure if I should just wait or leave. I left and luckily for me they ended up knocking on the door and giving me a set of sheets. The person said they don’t have extra fold out beds here even though that’s something they said online. Horrible wifi so nothing really works. They collect their 5 stars by a spinning wheel. Leave a 5 star, spin and get a free reward. Don’t waste your time,

Older hotel, needs cosmetic work. Our bathroom fixture was loose in the sink andthe tub needs to be reglazed. Everything was rusty from the salty environment. Comfy bed at least!

The property is dated, especially the rooms, I do not necessarily need fancy, but bath/shower had these small fly type bugs. The rain type shower head in the middle of the ceiling had paint above it all peeling so I didn’t want to use shower. Faucets loose feel like they are going to fall off, hot water was almost non existent. Pocket door in the bathroom was newly put in so bad that you could NOT close the bathroom door. Hire a new carpenter for haven sakes Noise every night in the court yard areas that are right next to your bedroom window, literally. Multiple people kept coming up to my room door trying to open it at all hours, this made me feel very unsafe. The only positive was closeness to the beach. In a word, nightmare.

I had a week long stay at this property that has a wide vareity of hotel rooms, studios to 2-bedroom apts. I had everything I needed in my room. I did have to request clothes hangers, but they gave them to me the next day. Good place for beachgoers.
