The Park Hotel at Meadowlands

The hotel room is noisy they need to update the heating system. it was difficult to sleep.

The hotel was overall clean however the bathroom tub did not drain and the toilet was really loud.

I booked off of the pictures provided and the room did not match the picture so beware!!! Rooms are run down and old . Beds are comfortable and bedding is nice thank god for that. That’s all the positive I can say. Over priced parking fee Carpets are sticky - use slippers/shoes

The hotel was in a convenient location only a few minutes from The American Dream Mall. The staff was accommodating and the room was clean!

Overall it was a great stay. They could have cleaned and fixed things in the rooms such as the lighting, tissue holder, the rust on and around the sink and the shower head but my family and I slept comfortably. The staff definitely could’ve responded to our wants and needs the first maybe the second time as well. But I will visit again to see if the changes were applied.

On the website and hotels.com the hotel is portrayed as a modernized hotel. The building has no name on it, the entry is very outdated with numerous stains on the carpet and a light damp odor. The room was very dark and not updated at all. Carpet stains, there was a razor left in my kids room very clear in sight and it made me question was the room thoroughly cleaned. We stayed in the hotel because we had no other options and it was very convenient to the American Dream location. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and nice. But the overall look of the hotel I was not please with.

No hot water! Reported and nothing was fixed!

To say that this hotel needs a lot of work is an understatement. Before writing our experience, I will say the staff was friendly, accomodating & tried hard to rectify issues that occured during our stay. We were there for the dance comp earlier this month (April 2025). We arrived later in the evening on our check-in date. The first room was heavily outdated, smelled of cigarette smoke, dirty with hairpins (not ours) all over the floor. not at all what was shown on the pictures (on Expedia or the website). We called maintenance as there was no hot water and the faucet could not be regulated. The maintenance worker did come right away & apologized stating it was a consumption issue. So my 9 year old daughter took the quickest freezing cold shower ever. When we were about to get in bed, we turned down the sheets, there was multiple spatters of dried blood!! Nightmare. My husband (who went off site bc there was no toothpaste/toothbrushes to be purchased in the lobby) immediately informed the front desk & asked for someone to change the sheets. He showed the front desk rep the photos of the blood & they gave their sincerest apologies z changed our room immediately, to a "newer room". Transferred to new room. It was cleaner with hot water. Bathroom smelled like damp clothes & bathroom light wasnt working. Next day fridge was leaking! Maintenance said power tripped which defrosted the ice & they had no lightbulbs for bathroom. No restaurant either. Nightmare weekend & not worth c

Not so good Shower curtains were ripped The toilet paper holder broke We asked for extra towels and things Didn’t get it. No breakfast. And I didn’t care for how I was handled by the front desk staff.

We stayed in a corner room and it was very nice, though the bathroom was a little tight. The bed was super comfortable, but the pillows could be a little better. They're maybe too soft. However, the same guy was working the front desk our entire stay and he clearly needs a vacation or something. He could not care less about providing good customer service. I would ask a question and it would seem like an inconvenience that I was asking. He didnt do anything specifically wrong, it was just his attitude. It was off-putting enough to drop the rating a star.

Hotel was clean and friendly staff

The room was dirty with stain littered around the carpet on the floor. The door latch was loose, and I asked for engineering to check it, and no one came to fix it; we were in danger of being locked out of the room. Because we had to attend a convention center event.
