The Pointe Hotel and Suites

We would definitely stay here again. The room was spacious and clean. We loved the patio area outside our room was great. The pool, hot tub and sauna were wonderful.

Oldie but goodie!

The people were great. It could use some updating especially for the high cost of a stay. The breakfast options were minimal especially for guests with dietary restrictions. The only options were packaged muffins and waffles. It would be nice to have an ice machine on the property as well. I liked the balcony and the beds were very comfy.

The staff was great. The hotel rooms are very outdated but clean. This seams to be typical of older resorts in more rural areas.

Check in was easy & customer service was wonderful. Our room was clean & had a beautiful view of the lake across the road.

The room was close to the road and very noisy. We expected a nice view but did not get it. The staff was indifferent. No assistance with luggage.

Our room was fine, although we could easily hear the people in the next room talking. Our issue is that our room was situated where we had two sets of stairs to navigate. We were at the far end and the breakfast was take to your room only. My husband has mobility issues so carrying a breakfast tray with all those stairs was less than ideal. Had we known we would not have booked that room.

Convenient. Room looked over the lake. Nice balcony. Eagle soared overhead. Premier Studio was spacious and clean. Bathroom is small. Tub a little dated. Rustic decor. Microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker and eating utensils and plates a plus. Bed a little lumpy. Electric fireplace and jacuzzi tub available but did not use. Short walk over the bridge to get into town. Reasonably priced.

The views from the balcony were beautiful. It was quiet at night. The only thing that was missing was an ice machine that was accessible to the guests.

Overall a nice stay, but a lower score due to issues beyond their control. On our second night the internet and television went out, and they said that it would be repaired later that evening but it wasn't even back by checkout the next day. The complimentary breakfast was also very basic with just prepackaged items except the waffles. But even with this, on the final morning there were not even any prepackaged boiled eggs, so basically very little for any decent protein. The answer for no eggs was that Sysco was out of them. The other issue is that we were on the lower level and just the walking of the people in the room above us sounded like a heard of elephants.
