Unique history. Used to be a priory to the adjacent church. Old world charm. 12 foot ceilings. Real wood furniture, moldings. All the important amenities.

Our room was large, quiet and clean. We enjoyed a drink at the smallest bar in PA one night where we were able to mingle with other guests. Grab and go breakfast was a nice surprise. We stayed 2 nights, so if we had stayed a 3rd night, we probably would have looked for a breakfast spot nearby as the grab and go breakfast menu did not change during our stay. But eating the substantial bagged breakfast in the courtyard was lovely. The complimentary ride to and from the 2 baseball games we attended at PNC park was a game changer. Overall a wonderful experience at a unique property.

My son and I stayed here when we drove in from out of town to go to a Pirates game. It was brutal hot. The hotel had a shuttle to take us to the game and pick us up after. Breakfast was easy to order. Hotel was immensely quiet. If you’re looking for a nice place with some good character it’s great. In full disclosure it is in an area that is hemmed in by some overpass infrastructure. This always creates some odd parts of town. The shuttle was really helpful and took away any concerns with walking around weird pockets of infrastructure.

The neighborhood felt unsafe after dark. I understand there’s nothing The Priory can do about that but perception is reality. We loved the hotel: our room was very comfortable, towels were thick and luxurious and we enjoyed the patio for an evening cocktail and morning coffee.

The Priory is a true gem! It offers the closest experience to a European Inn that you can find in Pennsylvania. The building is impeccably preserved, and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. There is a lovely courtyard with a fountain and plenty of seating. My well-appointed room had a very comfortable bed, making my stay a refreshing change from large chain hotels.

It was a beautiful old historic hotel that was well maintained. We went for a baseball game. Did not feel it was safe to walk to and from PNC stadium or any local attractions. They did have a bus but we were not informed about it. Limited dining close by.

We loved the old building that was saved from destruction and the beautiful architecture. This former Benedictine monastery has an ambiance that the modern boxy hotel chains will never be able to match - and we will pick a boutique hotel like this every time. We'll done, Graf family, with the restoration and new function. We loved it and will come back.
