The Ramsey Hotel & Convention Center

Rooms where not clean and very out dated for the price ended up leaving a day early lost a night in both rooms we paid for

Very nice hotel. Everyone was friendly and nice and clean. Right in the center of everything we were there for.

Sadly we got in late and had a noise family above us but the rest the stay was perfect!

The only negative thing was that there was hair left on the shower wall.

EVERYONE was super friendly and kind like we were family!! We walked to diner everyday so very popular site! Will stay again!!

This was our first time staying here and everything was great besides us having to wait past check in time but in there defense it was labor day weekend and they were completely booked so I wont hold that against them. Staff was friendly. Buffet breakfast was good. We will definitely be back.

Very nice place. Looks like renovations are coming in the near future. Breakfast was great with many options. The staff were very nice and accommodating. They really thought of everything, except for lounge chairs at the pool.

We have stayed in this hotel for the last three years and this will be our last time. It started with 6, yes 6 calls after making a reservation telling us there was a problem with our credit card. Each of these calls of course made us call our card company who confirmed nothing was wrong it had to be the hotel. After hours on hold and working this problem, the hotel finally said just come on down we won’t worry about it. Two days before we arrived the hotel called again with the same concern. This time they figured out that they had made a mistake when they took my card number. So it was their mistake. I joked with the guy and said after all the hours I have in this reservation you owe me a drink to which he said you deserve much more than that we will take care of you when you get here. So we arrive and I am expecting an upgrade. We were placed in the smallest room ever right beside the loud vending and ice machines. I went back to the front desk and told them that was not acceptable after what we had been through and they provided an upgraded room free of charge. We were hoping it would all be good from there. Then we started noticing that the hotel common areas were not clean. Elevator doors and buttons were black with dirt on the edges, grout lines in the bathroom were BROWN, yes brown with “dirt” of some sort. Our room was not cleaned for two days and the GM seems to be too busy to call us back. We kept asking for service and we got nothing, never again!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Beautiful. Excellent service. Close to so many little shops and restaurants.

The property is not well maintained. The bathrooms in the room had mildew. One day they left a letter on my bed and didn’t make it, because my son left a sock on the bed and they can’t touch personal items. The hot tub had an odor as well as the pool.

We had planned a weekend stay at the Ramsey with our young son. Check in was easy, staff was very friendly. Upon arriving to our room we noticed the hallway leading there was very dark and not well lit. We got to our room and immediately found a cockroach in the floor. The front desk offered a new room and at first we accepted but after more consideration we decided to find a new place to stay. Staff was friendly and done what they could but ultimately we wanted better facilities for the price we were willing to pay for a better experience.

They play Christian music from 7a-10-11pm. There was a speaker outside my room. Awaken every morning by 7am. I asked about it and was sharply told by an employee the owner demands it and there is a marker line for the volume. From that point on the staff ignored us. Black stuff all over the ceiling from the air conditioning vent. The drainage in the bathroom was poor. The sink took minutes to drain and we showered with the water up to our ankles. The toilet was difficult to flush and ram loudly for a while after being flushed. Zero concern for noise. We had a family of 12 outside our room at 10:30p on the couches laughing and talking loud. We called downstairs and asked for them to be asked to move to the couches in the lobby. They said the would take care of it. They didn't. At 11p we asked them to move. They don't put sheets on their pull out beds. You have to call and ask for the bedding then make the beds. Their mattresses are stained so it's was gross. Overall, stay at a chain hotel so there are guidelines for noise.

said they were pet friendly, but are ONLY DOG friendly. we had our cat so we had to leave and find another hotel that is ACTUALLY "pet friendly" wasted money and time
