The young front desk receptionist , Skyler, was inhospitable. No greeting, failed to give us complimentary water and popcorn. She was more concerned with her cell phone. Lauren, the other receptionist ,was exceptional! She came up to our room to help with our TV. She is a definite asset to your hotel!!! First time here… room clean, no carpet, bathroom clean and great large Smart TV.. to watch the Stanley Cup!! Breakfast had assorted hot and cold items.. I will definitely stay again!! Cracker Barrel next store.. not my favorite but there are other restaurants in area!!

From the time we walked in the door we felt at home. The two young ladies greeted us with a wave, smile, goody bag, and even a little something for my granddaughter. The vibe was very calm, modern, and welcoming. I actually said...I want to live here. We aren't currently Hilton reward members but this stay definitely has us considering it. Thank you for being so welcoming and making us feel at home. Breakfast was also delicious and FREE

Tru is a very modern type of property.
Pros: Amazing blackout shade that actually slides down into a track so no light sneaks around! Nice firm bed. Adequate room size for us (but I guess some people like more spacious rooms). Nice clean bathroom and a shower with awesome water pressure. **Breakfast was fabulous!!! Their automatic pancake machine you simply wave at was so cool. (I’ve read that those are only at Tru by Hilton.) There were also omelettes, sausage, oatmeal, toast, cereal, plenty of fresh fruit, juices, etc.
Cons: I think we hit a rush time at breakfast, and there was only one lady to replenish the large coffee pots and food, wipe down tables, etc. Everyone was very patient, though, as she was doing the best she could.

This property was everything it should be. Extremely easy to get to, right off 95. Everythib. Was clean and new…very comfy pillows! The food options were great along with a mini grocery. I would look to stay at this property again

This hotel was basically new. Absolutely no issues with the amenities, room or staff. The hotel felt cared for. The breakfast bar was stocked and maintained well. They recommend restaurants,a FYI note: The Lakehouse has a long wait without a reservation and we hated that we drove there. It’s a gravel road about 7 minutes from the hotel. We ate at Santee Steak and Seafood and we do not recommend it, the parking lot being dirty was a red flag, it didn’t get better on the inside, the hostess was rude, the waitress was cold and the food was mediocre. Gas next to the hotel was $4.55 -a gallon. The hotel is nicer than the surrounding area.

Nice place - clean, friendly (while not being overly so), quiet despite being close to 95. Many decent restaurants within a very short drive. Only complaints 1- there was not a lot left at the breakfast bar when we got there at 9:30 (breakfast was until 10 :( ) but what was there was real food, actual hardboiled eggs and sausages if real meat not filler. 2- the windows in the rooms don’t open for fresh air (this drives me bananas, esp after the pandemic, but it seems to be what all the hotels are doing these days). Would stay again.

this is one of my favorite hotels along the East Coast I-95 corridor. Clean, modern, friendly staff, very very convenient to I 95. I always enjoy staying here. The rooms are large and very clean. A+++++
