We enjoyed our stay at the Washington Plaza! The property was so clean and immaculate upon arrival. We were able to check into our room early. The room was clean and spacious and smelled good. A good location, and we were able to walk to nearby restaurants and landmarks. There are plenty of elevators, we never waited more than 20 sec for one. The sink area is separate from the toilet/bathtub so it accommodates families perfectly. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

The hotel needs an update badly. The rooms are outdated and ugly. They were clean. Parking was awkward and expensive for self parking. The front desk staff was slow and rude. The cost of the hotel fees should at least have a continental breakfast for free.

This place was located in a great area and all of the restaurants and the National Mall that I went to was only 15mins away roughly. I have no bad comments about this hotel. The bed was nice and firm which I prefer over a softer bed.

The hotel room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel overall is kept up well even though it is slight dated. Remarkably, the room window could be cracked to let in fresh air. WiFi was very good. The location is central and a bit noisy. At night it is fairly quiet. So, it is an excellent choice if you are alone and traveling for work. Slightly less so if you wanted to impress your spouse or significant other. I did not try the hotel restaurant, but the room coffee was of decent quality.

I stayed here for just one night, and the men at the door were amazing. Unloaded, and loaded my taxi cab as soon as I pulled up to the door. One even walked all the way to the elevator when I had trouble trying to figure out how to get on my floor. Turned out I had to wave my door key by the sensor to have the elevator to go up. The girls at the front desk were okay, just smiling when they needed to nothing special like the men at the door. They were amazing! What I didn’t like about my room was that there was a mouse trap under my bed, and the bathroom / shower area could’ve been cleaned better. I found some hair, some stains and the hotel itself is a bit outdated. The fish tanks glass were dirty, etc. Overall, it was just one night and it did its purpose but I would probably not return due to the fact that I found mouse traps under my bed. ( while I had a child in the room who could’ve grabbed it ) thank you.

The staff was amazing. My only criticism is related to the bathroom. The exhaust fan was installed but there was no way to turn it on. It also transferred sound from the adjoining room. 901 our room was able hear everything in 900. We eventually closed the bathroom door to eliminate the noise.
